I believe in buying the best product once and the Sylvia Gaming TV fits the bill. Searching for a 1000 nit tv I came across this television. Ordering was a breeze and the television was delivered safely by a third party carrier. Because of the weatherproof design it does require a two person lift to safely install. Setup was simple and painless as I was able to download apps to watch my favorite programs to include AppleTv. Picture quality is great with surprisingly little glare. I now find myself watching my shows outside on the new patio. I would definitely recommend Sylvia outdoor televisions!

Very good picture quality. You can see the different in brightness with the 1000 nits. We use it all the time on my screened in porch. Durable build overall, with the strong metal exterior. It is somewhat heavy, but compared to other outdoor tvs I’ve owned, the exterior is thin, which makes it easier to mount. Only knock is the use of Google TV vs. Roku.

Excellent TV so far. Picture is clear and crisp. Watching the NFL draft on my patio. Was worth it.

The TV they sent was defective, and unfortunately not out of the box. It worked great the first time I plugged it in. After being outside for one week, with a TV cover and barely any rain (which it is specified to handle as an outdoor TV) I turned the television on for a second time and the speakers no longer worked. I reached out to Best Buy well within the return and exchange window and requested they send me a replacement product and pickup the defective one. They told me this would not be possible. I must handle the return entirely myself. I kindly asked they they print a label where I could schedule a UPS pickup. They refused and said this is impossible. For such an expensive item, and the fact that I paid $400 for the additional Geek Squad protection, I would have expected some support and understanding (it would cost them $40 to pickup this package). However I received no support from the Agent. Worse yet, my research advised me to spend the money on a reliable brand like a Samsung Terrace. I had my concerns about outdoor TV's, especially a brand like Sylvox. Not only did they prove themselves to be a poor product within the first week, but I couldn't even get support or accoutability from Best Buy. Bottom line... if you are going to buy an outdoor TV, select a vendor other than Best Buy and a manufacturer other than Sylvox.
