I’m thrilled to see the resurgence of past Tales of entries in the series being remastered and ported to the Nintendo Switch. The gameplay in this installment is particularly enticing! I highly recommend it to any RPG fan. I eagerly anticipate more titles to be remastered in the future.

Following the debacle with Tales of Symphonia Remastered, I had little to no faith that this port would turn out any differently. Thankfully, this did not end up being the case. It is unfortunate that this does not run at 60 FPS like the other versions. Some scenes have objects in the distant background (mountains, etc) that are heavily blurred. However, this is still preferable to the Wii or PS3 versions that ran at wildly inconsistent framerates. Targeting 60 FPS does not mean that you can maintain it, and those older versions definitely did not maintain 60 FPS throughout. The Switch version, on the other hand, actually maintains a generally solid framerate throughout both combat and world exploration (even if it is lower), and I encountered no major bugs at all in my entire playthrough. I currently have 50 hours in this and I am nearing the end of the post-game story arc, and I have had little to no issues with this version. Having the licensed costumes would have been nice and it could have been optimized a bit more, but this is a perfectly solid version of Graces.

Tales of Graces f on the Switch is everything I loved about the original, but better. The combat is easily one of the best in any JRPG—fast, smooth, and super satisfying. It really keeps you engaged the whole time. The story holds up well, with a great mix of emotional moments and fun character interactions. It’s all about friendship and growing up, and it actually hits harder than I expected. This version looks great and runs perfectly, whether you’re playing on the TV or handheld. Load times are quick, the menus are cleaner, and it just feels more polished overall. Plus, it includes the full post-game epilogue, which adds a lot of value. If you missed it before, now’s the perfect time to jump in.

I loved the original. This one is of, of course, excellent, plus the quality of life updates are very welcome. Being able to ignore battles is an incredible time-saver.

I loved this game on PS3, and I love it on the Switch. Tales of Graces has a very fun combat system, fantastic characters, and a bright, colorful anime-style aesthetic. The story gets some criticism for being very "power of friendship," but honestly, I like it, and the great characters make it worthwhile. It also has a ton of content between the main plot, side quests, skits, other mechanics (dualizing, etc.), and fun stuff like discoveries. I can really feel the love that was put into it. A must for Tales fans and JRPG fans.

Tales games are fun. So glad to have picked this up. I didn't get a chance to play this as I only had a Wii. Story and characters are great. I forgot her name but the sciencetist nerdy girl who smells is pretty funny.

The Tales games are always fun to play. Good story, great combat. If you're looking for a good action-based JRPG, i highly recommend this game.

Have it on PS3 but was more than happy to get it on a more current platform. Great Tales game for sure. I also like Bryce Papenbrook who voiced the protagonist. Met him at a random art booth he was running with a friend at LA Comic Con. Said he wanted a break from all the crazy SAO panels and signings. Really down to earth and nice guy.

While it was originally released on the PS3 it still runs and plays fine on the Switch as well understandably. All The DLC add-ons are on the cartridge too no big download needed to play the game. Just as fun and exciting as I remember and while I still have my PS3 version it's nice to be able to play this game on a new and portable console whenever I wish.

I am a huge fan of the Tales series so I am going to be a little biased but the game is fun. An older game done well so I can't conplain. The combat system is cool and it's a decent story.

The game is great and runs extremely well. There was obvious care for this port. The game itself is fun and despite not being a graphical powerhouse it takes you back to a simpler time for video games. The cast is phenomenal and you feel a true connection to the characters. Must play for JRPG fans.
