Tame Impala - Lonerism - VINYL LP

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2012 from the Australian Alt-Psych rockers. Kevin Parker (vocals/guitar) and Dominic Simper (bass) formed Tame Impala as 13-year-olds in Perth in 1999, sticking to bedroom recordings until 2007, when Jay Watson joined them on drums and backing vocals. Their sound was pure late '60s, but wasn't the sound of any specific band from the era. They were as likely to be channeling the Nazz as the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Cocooned away inside walls of Psychedelic Fuzz in Western Australia they re-created their preferred period one song at a time with the aid of gear and production techniques that sounded like they hadn't been dusted off since 1968. Album Tracks 1. Be Above It 2. Endors Toi 3. Apocalypse Dreams 4. Mind Mischief 5. Music to Walk Home By 6. Why Won't They Talk to Me? 1. Feels Like We Only Go Backwards 2. Keep on Lying 3. Elephant 4. She Just Won't Believe Me 5. Nothing That Has Happened So Far Has Been Anything We Could Control 6. Sun's Coming Up

Tame Impala are a rainbow sandstorm of stoned riffage, mind bending melody and blissed out adventurism from the most isolated city in the world who echo the lighter side of Cream, Blue Cheer and Kyuss. This is the band's debut album 'InnerSpeaker'. 'InnerSpeaker' is Tame Impala's chance to paint a far more extensive picture, and sure enough it redrafts the entire Tame Impala world as we knew it into an explosive, cosmic wonderland of ecstatic harmony and perfectly accessible journeys into inner space. Recorded and produced by the band's own Kevin Parker with Death in Vegas's Tim Holmes on the engineer duties, in an enormous mansion with 180 degree views of the Indian Ocean. It was then mixed in upstate New York, by renowned sonic maverick Dave Fridmann (MGMT / Flaming Lips). The resultant record will first be unveiled with the single, Solitude Is Bliss, a joyous summertime romp through fields of honeyed harmony and crispy good times and is just the very tip of the amorphous cosmos that. Album Tracks 1. It Is Not Meant to Be 2. Desire Be, Desire Go 3. Alter Ego 4. Lucidity 5. Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind? 6. Solitude Is Bliss 7. Jeremy's Storm 8. Expectation 9. The Bold Arrow of Time 10. Runway, Houses, City, Clouds 11. I Don't Really Mind

Vinyl LP pressing. 2021 . Rock 'n' roll is often hard to define, or even to find, in these fractured musical times. But to paraphrase an old saying, you know it when you hear it. And you always hear it with The Wallflowers. For the past 30 years, the Jakob Dylan-led act has stood as one of rock's most dynamic and purposeful bands - a unit dedicated to and continually honing a sound that meshes timeless songwriting and storytelling with a hard-hitting and decidedly modern musical attack. But while it's been nine long years since we've heard from the group with whom he first made his mark, The Wallflowers are silent no more. And Dylan always knew they'd return. InchThe Wallflowers is much of my life's work,Inch he says simply. That life's work continues with Exit Wounds. Album Tracks 1. Maybe Your Heart's Not in It No More 2. Roots and Wings 3. I Hear the Ocean (When I Wanna Hear Trains) 4. The Dive Bar in My Heart 5. Darlin' Hold on 6. Move the River 7. I'll Let You Down (But Will Not Give You Up) 8. Wrong End of the Spear 9. Who's That Man Walking 'Round My Garden 10. The Daylight Between Us
