I’ve been shooting weddings and portraits for a long time! I went from the Holy Trinity, to only using Primes (85mm) will always be my favorite!! However, this 35-150 is too versatile! Yes, it is a TANK + I use battery grips. Simply put it is a 10 out of 10 with great clarity and focus.

An extremely unusual but extraordinarily useful focal range. There's very little like it. It's big, heavy, and the autofocus is slower than the Nikon 2.8S lenses, but it's useful for things that neither the 24-70 nor the 70-200 can do.

My new amazing “go to” lens for the majority of my photography. Downside - a bit large and heavy. Image quality, focal length, and aperture range range is outstanding.

I am very satisfied with the performance of this product. I highly recommend this lens for travel photography.

Quick focus, sharp image and well-built quality. Good travel lense.

It's heavy and has no tripod foot (for attaching a strap). Although the apertures are fast, the fact that they're variable causes some amount of grief in post work. But the fact remains that there's no lens quite like this one. Being able to cover most events with one body and one lens is often worth the minor headaches.

I shoot at 1.2 where critical focus lands its always tac sharp. But this lens at F2 at ISO 1000 was a joke. Too soft too grainy. For $2000 I expect a professional lens. Not a waste of time. Great range. Grain leaves a lot to to be desired. Works well in bright Iso 100 light.

Selling all my lens and just going to rock this. Cant wait. Going to keep this and a 20mm f1.8 in my bad and im good to go. Dont think ill ever need a 70-200 unless i pick up sports photography

Great lens, I was able to sell four of my other lenses for this one. 1.8 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 24-70 F4. 2 is close to 1.8, it works for it's desired purpose!
