The word - pronounced InchtankInch with a whiff of the InchgInch - began as an onomatopoeic reference in-studio for the sound of a guitar tone, but has grown into a sigil for living in love. Joe sings on TANGK in a way we've never heard before, completing his transformation from post-punk firebrand into soul singing evangelist. Vinyl LP pressing. 2018 , the third studio album by rock band Lord Huron. After recording their second album, Strange Trails, in 2014, and releasing it in early 2015, the band would tour heavily in support of it's in the next few years. This exposure would eventually lead to the band having one of their songs, InchThe Night We MetInch, be used in the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, in turn leading to the song breaking into the Billboard US all- Hot 100 chart at number 84.
