Customer Ratings & Reviews

The backpack looks great and feels well made. It has plenty of space for everyday items, and the size is just right without being too bulky. The purple color looks nice in person, and the straps are comfortable.

I was surprised to receive such a good quality backpack with the amount I paid (got a deal). It has a large compartment that fits my MacBook Pro 16" laptop, and not mention the other many compartments. Well organized and elegant simple looking backpack. Love it.

I'm a college student and use this for my laptop, books, pencils, and charger. I found it to be a great backpack for me. It has a lot of room to fit what you need. The main pocket has 3 different sections, plus there are 3 other separate pockets you can use as well. It is also small and lightweight, so you won't have to worry about it being bulky. Overall, I enjoy this backpack and definitely recommend it.

The bag is very comfortable, it’s a bit smaller than I expected but the material is really good and it can fit my laptop. I bring it to work with me daily. Great daily laptop bag to grab and go

Got this for my work laptop and it is great. The compartments are well thought out. Wears comfortably. Looks nice. Just a nice overall laptop bag.

It feels really smooth and feels extremely solid material

I was specifically looking for a backpack that was large enough to carry all my daily gear, but it absolutely had to have a dedicated, secure space to fit my laptop. The Targus 15.6" Slate Backpack hits that perfect balance. It is a genuinely big bag with plenty of room in the main compartment for textbooks, chargers, and everyday essentials, yet the padded laptop sleeve keeps my computer snug and protected. It comfortably fits a 15.6" machine, and everything stays organized without feeling crammed or overly bulky. Best of all is the price. Finding a bag this spacious, durable, and well-designed at such a good price point is rare. If you need maximum carrying capacity and reliable laptop protection on a budget, this is the one to get.

very comfortable, a lot of space, waterproof backpack. value/price ratio is hard to beat.

I can't believe the discounted price ($9,99) I got it for. This backpack is sturdy, provides security for my laptop and other electronics, and has lots of room for other items without being bulky or difficult to carry. The straps are great and it feels comfortable. Great material all around. Best bang for the buck. I will be putting this commuter backpack to a lot of rigorous use.

Good backpack and got it for a good price and fast delivery. Had a deep pocket that fits my 14 inch laptop in a thick sleeve ,as well as a pocket for a tablet, also pockets for chargers, notebooks, pens, and extra pocket for misc things. Straps are super comfortable and lay against the back great.

My boys like plain black backpacks, this one was perfect, has enough pockets for pencils or pens, can hold their water bottle and their Chromebook for school. Hasn't been used because school hasn't started but it looks good and the material looks durable. I'll edit the review if it gets damaged within days if using it.

I’ve been using this Targus backpack for a while now, and overall I’ve been pretty impressed with it. I originally got it because I wanted something that could carry my everyday stuff without being unnecessarily bulky, and it has done a good job of meeting that need. One of the things I like most about the backpack is the amount of space it has. There are enough compartments and pockets to keep my belongings organized instead of having everything thrown into one large section. The laptop compartment is especially useful because it keeps the laptop separated from the rest of my stuff. There is also enough room for things like notebooks, chargers, headphones, and other everyday items. The backpack also feels fairly well made. The materials don’t feel extremely cheap or flimsy, and the zippers and stitching have held up well during normal use. I’ve used it for school and carrying my electronics around, and I haven’t had any major problems with it so far. I also like that it doesn’t look overly flashy. The design is simple enough that it works well as a school backpack but still looks appropriate for carrying a laptop or other technology. Comfort is another important factor for me. The shoulder straps provide a reasonable amount of padding, and the backpack is comfortable enough for normal daily use. When I have more things packed inside, I can definitely feel the extra weight, but that’s expected with pretty much any backpack. The weight distribution is generally good, especially when the backpack is packed properly. There are a few things I think could be improved. Depending on how much you carry, some of the compartments can start feeling a little cramped. It would also be nice if some of the smaller pockets had slightly more room or were designed specifically for certain accessories. If you carry a lot of larger items, you may eventually find yourself wishing for a little more overall space. For the price, though, I think this backpack is a solid choice. It provides good organization, decent protection for electronics, and a practical design without feeling unnecessarily complicated. Targus also has a reputation for making products aimed at carrying and protecting technology, which is one reason I felt comfortable choosing this backpack. Overall, I would recommend this backpack to students, commuters, or anyone who regularly carries a laptop and other electronics. It’s not perfect, but it does the important things well: it holds a good amount of stuff, keeps everything organized, is reasonably comfortable, and feels durable enough for everyday use. If you’re looking for a practical backpack rather than something focused mainly on appearance, this is a good option.

good size... comfortable... lots of pockets... padding is great

Looks great light weight nice color fits all my stuff can take it to travel too would fit a normal size laptop also

great size just what I was looking for and needed...perfect for my electronics and not weighted

Great material. Lots of pockets My girl is very happy with it

Great light weight backpack with a lot of storage!

I have two of the Targus backpacks. I use one to carry my 15.6 inch laptop and the other to carry clothing and other essentials for weekend travel. I like the cushioning the backpack provides while carrying my laptop. There are plenty pockets in the backpack.

By far the smallest backpack I’ve owned as a male adult but definitely one of the most sturdy and well made. Overall I like the sleek all black of this backpack and it has just the right amount of pockets for a work bag. Enough space to fit a laptop and lunch bag with 2 strong side pouches for water bottles on both sides. Overall it’s a no brainer if you’re looking for a simplistic bag look no further

I bought one last year and to my surprise it held up very good. A month ago, I purchased 3 for my 3 nieces (1 in highschool and 2 in college). Highly recommended and affordable.
