This is a pretty reasonably priced cooling mat. The day I bought my laptop it was sold out, I went back 2 days later to buy something else and it was back in stock. I find it to be a very quiet fan. We have another one that is older and a different brand in the household and it is very noisy. I have to put my ear up to this one to make sure it is working. So far it works great. The cord to it is on the older style. I’m not using it for gaming, just average computer usage.

This cooling pad is an excellent buy for people with gaming laptops or using laptops to design or edit videos. I would say you would definitely need this for gaming due to demand of the game but not so much for normal document or surfing the web. I did not notice my fans do not make a noise. I purchased this fan as a truck driver so I can play my games when I have free time.

I read reviews of others. I’m glad I got this one. The hum of the fans is barely noticeable. It’s helped with my video editing. My system doesn’t heat up like it used to. Good to go.

Does what it supposed to, a bit noisy but it’s bearable, It does have two fans so makes sense, fits my 14” laptop perfect

Decent laptop cooling system. It is quiet and the fans are strong. Will eliminate one USB C port from your laptop.

Very good if intake fans are on bottom of laptop like mines. Works 100% better if left on top of an air condition vent or cooling system as I actually have the luxury that many won’t. Pretty quiet….only suggestion would be better fans, more smaller fans, or higher fan speed as noise is not even 15% as loud as my laptop fans.

Quiet and keeps the laptop cool while even playing graphic intensive games.

cools my laptop a lot. helps with the performance strongly recommend. Fans could be faster though.

Great laptop cooler, i have my laptop down in a keyboard tray yo have it off my desk and it gets warm in there, this has helped create great airflow and i dont overheat anymore!

Lightweight and compact great for any laptop setup and compatible via USB, Recommended for those strenuous and high intensity gameplays.

I got this cooling pad as I purchased my Acer Predator Neo. Despite being smaller than the laptop, it served its purpose well. The fan is NOT very strong, so keep this in mind. When doing regular tasks, its fine. But, when your laptop needs more power, this pad is pretty much a stand. Still useful but go for a pricier option here. If you're sticking with Targus, they have them here at Best Buy.

My Microsoft Surface was constantly overheating, particularly when I had to lay it flat to use the drawing mode. The Chill Mat completely solved the problem, I now have a cool running machine. I am an online instructor so this Chill Matt really saved the day.

It Works very good. I was concerned about my Laptop getting hot while I work with it, but now no any more. The black color of this item and the gray color of my laptop look stunning! It works only with a USB connection, then no useful for MacBooks that was my initial purpose. But I am happy using it with my Dell Laptop.

It has a quiet fan blow. It’s not a hard blow, but it’s enough where cool air can cool laptop. The wire is not detachable so you don’t ever have to worry about losing your wire. But you do get four extra USB ports, which is pretty cool. I use this for my HP computer

Does what it’s supposed to. I like the simple design and it matches my all-black laptop setup. I use a 13-inch Flow x13 and I have seen a noticeable improvement on CPU temps. The fan noise is noticeable but not loud.

This cooling fan does help in lower my MacBook airs temperature significantly enough to successfully livestream with obs. Without it my computer was unable to perform the complex tasks without overheating and freezing. This inexpensive yet helpful addition is a must have if your labtop is almost there but can’t properly perform due to overheating! It plays an integral role in my steaming setup and allows me to use a laptop that otherwise would be a bit dated to livestream with its current specs without fan.

It’s definitely very useful and effective. It’s a bit loud, and can be overpowering, but if you have headphones or a good speaker, you’ll be okay. It fits perfectly under a laptop and doesn’t overpower an overall setup.

This mat cooling system is relatively quiet compared to noisy ones I’ve had in the past. It is flat and no angled, so you laptop will stay in place! It’s easy to install and uses one USB port.
