TCL has a new 3 in 1 Smart Portable 6,000 BTU Air Conditioner, Fan and Dehumidifier that works well in 250 sq. ft. spaces or under. It is super easy to set up and equally easy to download the app and control when away from your home. After complete setup, and with Wi-Fi assistance, it can be controlled through the TCL Home App, by voice command using either Alexa or Google Assistant, or by using the remote that is included. I set this unit up to work with Amazon’s Alexa, and the voice commands work great. It has three modes that make it very versatile and is designed with multiple fan speeds. Other useful additional features have been included like a sleep timer, a 24-hour timer, and an auto restart after a power outage. The design is simple and straight forward and the product is even set on casters and has side handles for easily moving it when needed. First and foremost, it is designed as a portable air conditioner, but it also doubles as a dehumidifier and as a fan. The air conditioner is extremely easy to install, and everything needed is included in the box. Installing the air conditioning requires the exhaust hose which has an outlet and inlet attachments, a window slider kit that functions in both double hung and sliding windows, foam installation to seal the slider kit, and a drain hose. The air outlet slides right into the back of the unit. Then the exhaust hose can be forcefully pushed and screwed into the outlet before extending it and connecting the inlet to the outer end of the hose. It is a little easier if you do not extend the hose before attaching both the hose’s outlet and the inlet attachments. Even then it requires a little pressure and at least three turns as the plastic to plastic has to be screwed in order to ensure a tight fit. It is equipped with a reusable and washable filter which is nice. The dehumidifier is a notable feature of this 3 in 1 product for me because there are a few months of the years that my geographical area has extremely high humidity. I can use the dehumidifier feature to extract water from the air before actually running the air conditioner. The kit comes with a drain hose for using the dehumidifier function. The fan is also a great stand-alone feature to have when the air conditioning is not needed. Both the dehumidifier and the fan use considerably less electricity than the air conditioning does. So having all three features in one unit and using them to maximize cooling and yet limit electrical use is a great concept. Both the remote and the control panel on the top of the unit allow for all of the controls to be operated. The controls are easy to see on the top of the panel. The basic choices are the power button, cool mode, dry mode, fan mode, and sleep mode. This TCL model (H6P44W/T06PC5S) is marketed as quiet, and it is for an air conditioner. It operates at around 54 decibels which is considered to be moderate to soft. Normal conversation is around 50 decibels. The TCL Portable Air Conditioner is also a small vertical unit of 26 ½” tall that only occupies a footprint of 11” x 11”. I really like this product. It is perfect for cooling my outside shed that I use as an office. The overall dimensions of the shed are 12’ x 20’ which puts the 240sq ft of the shed under the 250 sq. feet of the unit’s capacity. I would recommend this product for a workshop in a garage, a dorm, an apartment or anywhere in your home where you need additional cooling.

Ever since the 4 days of winter left here in Texas, we have been preheating to summer quiet quickly. I've always needed something external to cool my bedroom as the ductwork seems to not cool my room down as much as the rest of the house. Enter the TCL portable AC. If my living room was a nice 72, my room would always be 8-10 degrees hotter and it wasn't pleasant. The TCL has mighty cooling power in a small package albeit a little noisy. When 1st setting up a portable AC unit, always let it sit upright for a minimum of 24 hours before use. Setup was quick and simple. You get everything you need to get started. The only item you will need if you do would be something to cut the trim with if you window is small and a screwdriver. I used the smaller bay window in my room to exhaust the hot air and just had to cut off a small piece to get in to set right into the window frame. TCL includes all the hardware needed to find a good spot for you. Also included is a remote control that I prefer using over the App that you can download. I also purchased a little stand to let it on so the cold air could reach my bed as I have a high bedframe and put the unit on it. This also helps with the draining once the unit is full of water from use. There is nothing too fancy about the TCL, but there isn't anything else it needs if you just want a cold room. It has 2 speeds, default and high. Both run a little loud and high being really loud. I am a heavy sleeper and can drown it out easy but light sleepers be warned. There are also 3 modes if you need them, 1st being AC, 2nd is just being a fan to move air and the 3rd is dehumidifying. Last night my bedroom was 81 when I started it and after watching about an hour of TV, my room was a super comfy 73. Performance is great for my needs. I would recommend to any in need of an AC unit for a room no bigger than 250 sq ft.

This is my first portable air conditioner. I needed something to make the back room bearable again. For years, my elderly mother would suffer through uncomfortable temperatures and stuffy air, while the rest of the house was cooled by the main air conditioner. I’m not sure why I didn’t get a portable air conditioner before. Maybe I was hesitant about the setup, or maybe I knew that portable air conditioners had a reputation for not working as well as a standard window mounted air conditioner. Regardless, I decided to get this unit because I noticed other models from TCL were well rated. After installing and testing it, I can confirm this unit does a good job producing cold air and is effective at cooling down a hot and humid room. What makes this unit stand out from similar models is its smaller footprint and its integration into an app or smart home assistant. First, the unit is a compact 11 inches by 11.4 inches and just over 2 feet tall. Compared to other portable air conditioners with similar BTU and room coverage, this is one of the smaller designs. It allowed me more options on where I can place the unit in the bedroom. As with all portable air conditioners, you need to leave room around the unit to allow for proper air flow. TCL recommends 18 inches, but it seems to be working well with my current setup of about 10 inches in all directions. Given that spacing is always a consideration with these units, I liked the flexibility offered by this unit’s more compact size. As mentioned earlier, another feature that stands out is the ability to control the unit with an app on your phone. The smart integration is very convenient. And if you choose, you can instead connect the unit to your smart speaker or home display. I use Google Home for all my smart home integration, but this model also works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Home. By integrating with my smart home setup, I can control the unit from my phone, by voice, or from my Google Home display (see pictures). The good news is that even if you don’t have any of these smart home options, you can still control the unit on your phone with the TCL Home app. And if you are not interested in using any of these smart features whatsoever, a simple to use remote control is also included. It is the flexibility this model offers that makes it user friendly to operate, especially from a distance. In terms of how effective it is at cooling the room, I am very impressed. The unit blows very cold air when the condenser kicks on. To me, this is the most important feature and the main reason why I choose this air conditioner. I want to know if the unit I’m buying is going to be effective at properly cooling the room. This unit is strong enough to bring down the temperature in a hot room to a comfortable level. The master bedroom that it sits in is about 250 square feet, and it was able to bring a very warm 90-degree room down to 78 degrees. The unit was operating at max capacity, and it took over an hour to drop the temperature by 12 degrees, but it accomplished the job. Simply, it made an unbearable room comfortable again. That alone is the main reason for my 5-star rating. These next points are based on things I noticed while setting up the unit or are recommendations for other features. The most challenging part of the setup was connecting the exhaust hose to the hose outlet and inlet. The quality of these parts is very good, but it takes careful alignment and some muscle to screw on the outlet and inlet connections to both ends of the hose. Hopefully future models have an easier design method to attach these parts. Also, the reusable filters are a little hard to remove. They are designed to slide out, but it takes a good strong tug to get the first one out. It felt like I was going to break it, but once it came out, it was fine. This unit has really strong airflow; it is rated at 300 cubic feet per minute. There isn’t a way to direct the airflow with a vent. It would be nice if there were a deflector or movable vents. Instead, I just made sure to point the unit in the direction I wanted the air to flow. Another note when installing the unit, you are provided with insulation foam and a seal strip adhesive. The instructions tell you to use the foam and it even shows a little image of possible places to put it in a window, but that’s about it. I wish it provided more details or guidance on how to use the foam and strip. Alas, I made it work how I thought best. A note about setting up the unit to the TCL app. The instructions were clear and the process for turning on the Wi-Fi on the unit worked as described. However, when selecting the type of product within the app, I made the mistake of choosing the incorrect device. I accidently selected the icon that said Portable AC; it appears first in the list of products. After failing to get the unit connected to the app, I reread the instructions and noticed it said to select the icon labeled “Matter Portable AC.” Once I realized there was a difference, I located the proper device within the app and the rest of the configuration worked without any issues (see pictures). Regarding the name difference, Matter devices provide an additional option for connecting to your smart home system. It is a relatively new connectivity standard that provides additional options for controlling your devices within your home. One major benefit with Matter devices is they are specifically designed to work without an internet connection because it prioritizes local communication within your home network. If this is something you are interested in, it is best to learn how the Matter ecosystem works just in case you may benefit from this technology. On another note, regarding the connectivity options, it doesn’t appear you can connect the unit to both the TCL app and the Goggle Home ecosystem at the same time. You’ll need to choose which option is best for you. However, the included remote control works regardless of your setup. So, obviously this is the easiest option of them all. Again, it’s nice to have all these options built into this portable air conditioner. Overall, I am very happy with this unit, and I am very glad I chose this one.

Positives - The process from taking out and physically setting up was straight forward and easy to follow from prior experience with other portable air conditioners. The setup manual provided clear instructions as well (if needed for first time people setting it up). Once all needed components were connected (Power/exhaust hose), the unit took less than 5 mins to start really getting cold air running. For placement, I placed it in around 500-600 Sq/Ft room . Although this is rated for 250 Sq. Ft, it was able to provide a comfortable environment. Negatives - The area of improvement is the connectivity to the application, after following the setup instructions for the app “TCL Home”, Setting up the account and trying to trouble shot. I was unable to connect the device to that dedicated app. There was however, a QR Code on the side of the device that directed me straight the Apple Home Kit. I was able to connect the device that was but still unable to link it to the TCL Specific Application – assuming this would cause me to not be able to leverage with turning the AC on while on my way home from work. Overall - The overall experience was good. Although there were connectivity issues, it did provide the important function of keeping the room cool. I would recommend it to friends and family, if they were looking to cool a respective bedroom, office or workshop area.

The TCL 250sq ft portable AC unit is a nice, compact way to keep smaller areas cool in a house that either lacks AC or has a room that simply falls behind the others in cooling. Its quick and easy to setup, has a nice remote so that you can turn it on and off, and has a companion app (that I haven't used). I haven't had much time to test this as the temperature has been very mild where I live lately, but yesterday it finally got bad enough to kick the AC on and I was pretty impressed. Pros - Remote - Cooling Ability - Easy Setup Cons - A little noisey - Weaker fan As for build quality, I had no issues with the unit. Its made out of a thinner plastic which I imagine is to keep the weight down. It has two handles on the side for lifting that I wish were just a bit higher (makes for an awkward lift with how low they are). The tubing I felt was long enough, the adapters fit right in my window with no need to make modifications, and it even comes with foam insulation, which my last unit didn't have. As for performance, I have this setup in an 8x12ft room, so well below the rated area for this unit, and it did a great job. Even when fighting against the heat produced from my gaming PC. The unit itself will allow you to set the temperature down to 64 degrees, and it actually cuts off when it hits it unlike my last unit. One of the settings that I found particularly useful on days when the temperature wasn't high, but the humidity was is the dehumidifier. We've had days where the humidity was 60-70%, so running the dehumidifier made my living space much more comfortable. Only really complaint I have with the unit is that its pretty noisy at times. The compressor itself is pretty loud, and sometimes it will run through and have clicking sounds that are pretty audible. Overall a pretty good unit for smaller spaces.

This unit will easy cool down a bedroom space. It's pretty easy to setup and understand most controls. It's easy to turn on and turn off the provided remote and has clear instructions for setup, care, maintenance. The only 3 things I didn't like were the price, how loud it is even in the lower setting, and the timer function. After tax it came out to $360ish and that seemed too expensive for what this unit can do. It also gets pretty loud even at its lowest fan setting, and the timer is very confusing for a first time buyer like myself. Other than that it does what it's suppose to and works great for the purpose of cooling down my space during the day or night.

TCL has a new 6K BTU Smart 3-in-1 AC unit out. It can cover 250 square feet of space and has 3 modes. The main mode is the AC mode and it also has a Fan mode and Dehumidifier mode. It’s convenient to have a dehumidifier mode as an option with it. It comes with an exhaust hose, a mount that fits in a window, and an adapter to connect the hose to the window mount. It also comes with a drain hose I can connect and run to where I want the drain water to go. It’s very straightforward. Regarding power consumption, it uses much more power than I expected when the AC compressor is running. It used up to 895 watts when cooling. I have a different portable AC unit that cools a little more square footage, but uses half the watts. It would be good for TCL to look into that and maybe change to a more power efficient compressor. When using dehumidifier mode, it only used up to 122 watts which I think is good. Fan mode used about 90 watts. The blower pushes air well. The design is such that the air moves mostly to the left coming out of the unit instead of straight forward and there isn’t a way for me to set the direction. It would have been nice to the ability to change the direction of the air flow, but it my room where I use the unit, the air just hits the left wall and ends up helping to circulate the air. If someone has a situation where that wouldn’t help them and they need to the airflow to be a different angle, then they would have to turn the unit to accommodate the air flow direction they need. Event with that said, the unit was able to cool the room it is in down to 72 degrees F without a problem and it did well at maintaining that temperature. When I setup the unit using the TCL app, I was presented with the option to use Google or Alexa to control the unit. I chose Alexa so I can use my Echo devices to control it. The only issue I had during the setup was that my mobile device I used with the app was on a different network SSID than what I wanted the unit to be on which caused the app to setup the unit on the SSID my mobile device was on. I went back through the setup after I set my mobile device to be on the network that I wanted the uint to be on and it connected to that SSID without a problem. It would help if TCL changed the app to let you select from available SSIDs from the start so people don’t have to go through that. Overall I like the AC and it has helped keep a room in my home, one that is furthest away from my home AC, cool when my main AC doesn’t keep the room as cool as I would like even though it does great for all the other rooms. If you need a small AC unit or a dehumidifier, then look into the TCL 6K BTU 3-in-1 Smart Portable air conditioner. I think people would be happy with it and it is easy to setup and use. Plus it supports Google and Alexa.

I was really excited when I received the TCL Air Conditioner. I was intrigued by its smart functionality and ease of use, and I was happy about its quiet claim. It’s great however... it makes some bold claims. To test the unit, I bought a thermometer and a humidity sensor. This is how I gauged how the temperature or humidity dropped. So the unit can handle the three modes well. If you are using the remote or the TCL app, you have the option to turn on the AC, the fan, or the dehumidifier. Google Home only shows On/Off. You are not able to switch between the modes. The AC will cool down your room 3-4 degrees in 30 minutes. I went from 78 degrees in my room to 74 in that timeframe. I also tend to just aim it at my chair, and that usually is enough. I don’t share my office with anyone else, but in 30-60 minutes, any small room you have should be chilly enough. The humidity will drop 4-5% over 30 minutes. The room was at 43% and dropped to 38%. So overall, the main functionality works well, but everything else after that is a broken or semi-broken promise. They mention “setup made easy.” Attaching the hose to the inlets took a while. I feel like the ends of the hose should’ve been metal so they can twist into the inlets like a screw. So essentially, you’re trying to screw the collapsible hose material into the plastic inlet. The hose is also slightly bigger than the inlets. For the window slider they only give you one plug to lock it in place. Does not make sense if there is a hole on the other side that can also be plugged. I am afraid the plug will pop out one day, and it would fall. They do provide some foam and tape, but the more security, the better. They mention “quiet by design.” I’m sorry it’s not quiet in the slightest. I’ve never owned another portable AC unit like this before, so perhaps it is quieter compared to older models. It is on par with the same noise level as my dryer. My noise-cancelling headphones do help block some of the noise, but they cannot block it fully. With those headphones on, I can’t hear cars from the street, or my old fan, or even if my heater is running. Luckily, I also have a microphone that is inches from my mouth, so it does not pick up the AC. If you’re using a webcam mic or a lower-quality microphone, they will hear the AC. As I mentioned earlier, the Google Home app is missing some smart features. I noticed that you can only pair to one service. It was also time-consuming to pair with. Sometimes it connects. Sometimes it does not. Usually, it takes multiple tries. I encountered so many issues. You cannot pair to the TCL app and Google Home at the same time, either. With that said, if you want voice control, pick your smart speaker. If you want to be able to control the mode, the fan speed, and set a timer, pick the TCL Home app. Hopefully, knowing this saves you some time and trouble! It’s crazy because I’ve never had a smart device that can’t connect to its own application and Google Home at the same time. I’ve also tried pairing through the TCL app and then trying to add the device through “link app or services” on Google Home. After I try to connect it, Google Home will say, “Something went wrong. Try again.” I’m not looking forward to the day when the filter is dirty. I might manage to break it if I need to clean it. It’s plastic, flimsy, and tight in its space. So overall, it’s great with its three modes. It’s just not great at everything else.

This small yet portable AC unit is great for small apartments and/or garages. It has small wheels in the bottom that makes it easy to move around. The AC unit features a TCL app compatibility. Set up is fairly easy once you download the app gives you instructions on how to pair the unit with the app on your phone. This portable AC unit is pretty basic it only has two fan speeds. It has three fan modes one is cooling, a standalone fan, and a dry function. This AC is recommended for rooms up to 250 square feet. In the box everything is included to set up your portable AC near a window. It includes a kit to draw the hot air out of a room. The fan does a pretty good job of cooling down a room fairly quickly. Even though it comes with a remote control, you can control the AC unit through the app. You can also set up a timer of how long you want the AC to run. The small portable unit seems to be made of quality material that can last for years. I would recommend this portable AC for anyone looking for AC in a small apartment.

My house in the Southeast (hot summers) has a finished basement with no heating or air. Needless to say, here in the South, A/C is a must in the basement to keep cool and keep humidity low. I had an portable A/C unit that died toward the end of last summer, so I have been on the lookout for a new one for my office in the basement. I wanted a smaller unit that didn't take up too much room. This TCL unit looked like a good solution and so far, I am not disappointed. The unit is small, cools my 170sqft office well, and the cool air trickles into the adjacent workout room as well. This, combined with a larger unit in the main basement room and a dehumidifier in the unfinished area, will keep my basement cool and dry during the summer months. I was skeptical of a single hose unit because I have always read that dual hose units cool better. So far this unit cools just as well as the larger dual hose I have. A few bonuses are the app and the fact that the unit completely cuts off once the desired temp is reached. Being able to use my phone to adjust the temp is a nice feature and setup was easy. My other portable A/C units do not stop running the fan once the set temp is reached, using much more electricity. Another bonus is this unit comes with a decent amount of foam strips of different thicknesses for sealing the gaps in around the window plate. In the past, I've always had to buy foam separately. A few things I don't like so much: I had to cut a piece of wood to place in the window under the window plate. The window plate would not sit in the bottom of the window because the hose sits too low. I also had to trim the adjustable window plate to get it to fit. Neither the unit or the app display the current temperature. All it shows is the set temperature. The last A/C unit I had only lasted a few years. Hopefully this TCL unit makes it much longer. For now though, I'd recommend this for any small space where cooling is needed.

THE TCL 250sq ft Portable Air Conditioner is a small factor air conditioner that's suited for a small room. With its Compact size and 6,000 BTU and 3in1 with ac, fan and dehumidifier works perfectly for a small space. The setup was pretty easy, unfortunately i needed to order a conversion kit as my window was just a tad to large for the included hardware. Normal side sliding windows will work perfect, just measure before installing. Once they kit came in it took about 15 minutes to get the exhaust plate secured and the vent tubing attached. In the Florida humidity, it took roughly 30 minutes for the room to cool down from 81 degrees to 72 degrees. After 5 days of constant usage the office space which measures 225sq ft was kept cool to a 69 degrees. This was a welcomed change as I do have a central AC unit but the far side of the house could benefit from a split ac unit. So this works perfect vs the costly installs. The minimal and compact design didn't take up a lot of space and didn't feel overpowering. Overall this unit was easy to control with the included remote, it didn't leak of any kind, plus the cool air that it pushed was really cool and at didn't feel like it was overworking in the day in the 90 plus outside weather. If you need something that is compact and keeps cool, this TCL unit worked well for the space.

If you live in a part of the country that is hot and humid most of the year, it's no secret that air conditioning is a godsend. But not everyone can afford a central AC system or wants to mess with installing a heavy clunky window unit. Or maybe they just need something for emergencies, like the aftermath of a hurricane, when there is no power for days or weeks on end. (assuming you have a generator) If so, TCLs Smart Portable Air Conditioner is a good solution. This boxy, roll-around unit -- about the size of a large kitchen trash can -- can cool or dehumidify up to 250 square feet, an average living room or large bedroom. (TCL makes other units for smaller or larger spaces.) Best of all, you don't have to be an electrician or and HVAC technician to get it up and running. Just plug it into a standard wall outlet, set up the window exhaust and turn it on. This AC unit comes with an adjustable window insert that works with both vertical and horizonal slider-type windows (not casement). Just get that insert in place, attach the big vent hose, which is needed to exhaust the hot air from the air conditioner compressor, and you are good to go. Most people can do this in a few minutes. (Once you wrestle the admittedly heavy 70 pound unit out of the box) Touch controls on top give you a choice between a fan, air conditioning or just dehumidifying. There are two fan speeds, a thermostat to set the exact temperature you want, and a timer. The controls are all pretty intuitive. There is even a remote if you would rather go that route. (There is an app too but I could never get that to work.) Right out of the box, it takes a while for the compressor find its footing and start cooling. There is a bit of gurgling along the way. But once it gets going, this AC unit works pretty well -- if you can put up with the noise. Even the slowest fan speed is way louder than any fan or central AC unit. It is something akin to the kind of noisy AC units found in many hotel rooms. But some may argue that is a small price to pay for air-conditioned comfort. In my first test run, I found this unit cooled fairly quickly, dropping the temp of my 80-degree room to 76 degrees in about 15 minutes. But it seemed less effective at reducing stickiness over the short run, with only small 1 percent drop in relative humidity over the same time period. The overall design is something of a mixed bag. On the upside, the ability to use this with both kinds of slider windows, is a major plus. Many portable AC units cannot deal with the wider up and down openings in horizontal slider windows. Built-in rollers on the bottom also make easier to move the air conditioner around, which is important given how heavy it is. The major caveat here being that those rollers dont work that great on some heavier carpets. Hard floors make for a smoother ride. On the downside, it is disappointing so little thought went into the design of the adjustable vent panel that fits in the window. What you get is three metal pieces that slide loosely together and that must be manually screwed together to get the correct window fit, not an ideal solution for a portable device that may be moved around and must be readjusted to accommodate different window sizes. Easy to remove clips, instead of screws, would make more sense, or some sort of spring-loaded system that would simply expand or shrink the panel to automatically fit the window. The 6-inch wide vent tube is also very stiff, instead of being soft and flexible, as you might expect. That makes adjusting it and connecting it to the window vent panel and AC unit a bit more challenging than it should be. Be aware this vent hose gets quite hot during normal AC operation. The final inconvenience, common to all indoor portable indoor AC units, is what to do about the condensation water, a byproduct of all air conditioning systems. In this unit, there is an internal tank where the water is held. This must be drained regularly when running the AC (the unit will shut off if the water level gets too high). Since this tank is inside the unit, there is no way to actually see how full it is. Draining it is a bit cumbersome, as well. A small screw-in plug at the bottom of the unit releases the water but it is so close to the ground, you would need a very shallow tray of unknown size to collect it. It makes more sense to roll the main unit to a tub or floor drain -- or just outside -- to empty the tank. Even worse, the automatic overflow shutoff system apparently does not always work if you are just running in dehumidify (DRY) mode (per TCL) so you must set up the unit to drain constantly using a provided drain hose. Otherwise you risk flooding the room where it is running. So while this TCP Smart Portable Air Conditioner is far from perfect, it works well enough that will probably satisfy those who simply can't afford other systems, who just need a backup unit for emergencies.

One of the first things I noticed about TCL’s 250 sq. ft. 6,000 BTU smart portable air conditioner is how compact it is. The smaller design and footprint make it really easy to tuck into a room without it feeling like it’s taking over your space, which is a big plus if you’re working with limited room. It blends in nicely and doesn’t have that bulky, industrial look that some portable units tend to have. I originally picked this up mainly for the dehumidifier function, along with the idea that it was “portable,” so I had some pretty specific expectations going in. Being honest, “portable” might be a bit misleading depending on how you plan to use it. It’s not something you can just pick up and roll from room to room and immediately start using. You do have to disconnect and reconnect the exhaust hose each time you move it, which kind of defeats that quick portability idea. That was definitely a bit of a letdown for me. That said, the unit itself is lightweight enough that physically moving it isn’t an issue, it’s just the setup process that slows things down a bit. Initial setup, though, is actually pretty straightforward. From installing the window kit to getting everything connected, it didn’t take long at all. I also hooked it up through the smart app and integrated it with Alexa since that’s what we use around the house. That part worked smoothly, and I have to say, being able to just say a command and have the unit kick on, switch modes, or adjust settings is super convenient. The included remote and onboard controls do the job just fine, but once you get used to voice control, it’s hard to go back. As far as performance goes, the dehumidifier function is decent but not amazing. It does make a noticeable difference over time, especially in a humid environment like Florida, but it’s not an instant transformation. It’s more of a gradual improvement that helps make the room feel less sticky and more comfortable. The air conditioning side of things performs better in my experience. In a moderately sized room, around 12 by 15 feet, it does a solid job maintaining a comfortable temperature. It’s not going to blast ice cold air like a larger unit, but for its size and rating, it holds its own. Overall, I’d say this unit does what it claims within reason. It’s compact, functional, and offers nice smart features that add real convenience to everyday use. I was hoping for a bit more punch, especially from the dehumidifier side, but it still gets the job done. I’m actually considering moving it into my workshop to see how it handles that space during the peak Florida heat, which will probably be the real test. If you go into it understanding its limitations, it’s a solid little unit that can make a noticeable difference in comfort.
