Good luck Getting Product Support From TCL

I purchased two units (one for loft, one for basement) less than a year ago. The pump on one unit now grinds every couple of hours. It is a little less loud than a coffee grinder. Tried contacting TCL support, and went through an hour+ of very slow back and forth before they ended the chat. I reinitiated the chat and they said they had no record of my previous 90 minute conversation. (My 2 products are registered with TCL, are enabled via their app, and I sent pictures of the serial number, top display, etc. ).

Excellent. It's exactly what I need. Simple connection to the hose for unattended drainage. It's keeping my himidity at 41, perfect. Reliable product.

Error E3 Fluorine Low Level error after 3 months

I purchased this unit with the hopes of finally finding a dehumidifier that lasts. Thankfully, I got the Best Buy extended warranty because I’ve gone through 5 dehumidifiers in our home in the 8 years we’ve lived here. They always fail about a month after the warranty expires. Not this TCL unit - it failed 3 months in. I’m STILL working with TCL support to get it replaced under their warranty.

Make sure you don't get 'open box' item for new

While I bought this dehumidifer new, I was given an 'open box' - a loose screw rattled around the water collector basin. And it didn't work. Quite a hassle for an older adult to get the unit into basement, only to have to get it out again. As a Best Buy member, they would only provide shipping - not getting back out of my basement.

Works very well! Drains right into our washtub via the hose attachment! No more emptying buckets several times per day!
