I work in television and bought this for a guest bedroom because it was cheap. I always thought of TCL as a low end TV. I have a Sony in our living room, a Sony in our master bedroom and a Visio in my home office. I really wasn't expecting much from a $259 50" 4K TV, but was totally impressed. The picture looks amazingly good and BONUS...it has ROKU built in. The menus are well thought out and easy to use, and the picture is better than my Visio, and pretty close to my Sony's. Time will tell how it does in the long run, but I would recommend this TV, and would surely buy one again in a second.

Tv looks great easy to set up all features work properly I hooked it up to a sound bar so I have no idea what the tv actually sounds like 4K looks nice on this tv haven’t had any issues streaming comes with an RCA adapter and yes you can hook up the Super Nintendo straight to it my only complaint with this tv is that I had to add a smart plug to it to completely kill all power otherwise she keeps turning on the sound bar by itself and she won’t shut off power to the usb plug so if you add an LED strip light YOU have too either get a smart plug or one that you can turn on and off other than that tv is very nice for the price !!

I have no complaints. I bought this TV for myself since my kids say I never buy myself anything. Picked this size and Brand because the price was awesome. Color and pic are great. I recommend this TV.

I got this TV because it fit perfectly in our children’s den area. They are able to watch TV and watch 4K Blu-ray movies. The picture is very good for an off brand. I was pleasantly surprised. The streaming Roku service is very easy to use and the remote has been extremely easy to navigate. I give it 4 stars because the kids have to select the source at the beginning of viewing each time they turn on the tv. Just an extra step, they don’t mind but I’m not used to that. Overall - very good tv that has met our need as a family.

It's a good tv for a start, would recommend getting a Samsung or LG TV for better crisp image than something that is very under powered and low frame rate. works good as a standard 1080p tv but needs some improvement. I used this tv as a secondary monitor but it tends to put out a lag input I wouldn't recommend using as a second monitor. It works good for streaming or console gaming. I have nothing really to say about this tv but it's a very decent price for a standard TV.

Easy to use! Great color & pic. Control is more easier to use. ( I had problems with my other control I had with my other smart tv)

It’s a all in one streaming tv. It was super easy and quick to set up too. TCL is a great tv-who needs the big name tv at big prices. This set has it all and extremely affordable.

This tcl tv is a great value, the picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is ok, but for some reason the volume goes up to 100 and you can barely hear anything to about 25, I would recommend a sound bar. The interface is very intuitive and should be easy to use even for the less tech savvy person. The roku remote has very few buttons and that's a good thing however when I first went to change the volume I didn't realize the buttons were on the side of the remote. Overall This is a excellent tv at a amazing price!

I started living on my own for the first time this year and needed to purchase my own furniture and TV. I hadn't owned a TV in years and finally got tired of watching everything on my computer. I spent a lot of time reading reviews before I purchased anything and I'm very happy I decided to go with this TV! It's easy to set up and use, has great display and sound, and is super affordable. For my first TV, I could not be happier with the choice I made!

Great picture for price. Perfect for my bedroom. But, Roku is so darn confusing. And I have to hit satellite every time i turn the t.v on.

Great quality TV, very durable. Didn’t cost too much and it’s size isn’t too big or too small

After my TV damaged, I took another TCL 50' Roku TV because the first one was great for the price. The new TV is better with great resolution and better price. TCL is a good brand.

I didn't know it would cost $300 to register the Roku and it's taking a little time to get used to it The TV seems to work Great. I would like to know if they have a remote that will work with both my cable TV and the TCL Roku

Brighter and sharper display than the plasma TV it is replacing. Optimum viewing angle is limited, but it is the same for all LCD displays. Smart TVs are great for users who want to escape Cable. I wish the setups had the option of selecting the composite audio as the audio input for each input selection. The Cox Cable HDMI does not seem to have audio, so I have to turn on the surround system to get Cable audio. But I am turning off Cox Cable soon anyway. Attached is a computer rendering of the new entertainment center I am building.
