I say "these" in the title, because I bought two of them to merge together into a 100-inch 7680x2160 ultrawide multi-monitor setup with one of my PC's. I was previously using a couple other older TV's for this setup as sort of a trial run, decided I liked it, and figured I'd replace them with something a little better. These are definitely a step up from the two they're replacing. The contrast and black uniformity across the screen(s) is excellent, this TV does a great job with dark scenes. The overall picture quality on these is pretty fantastic for the price, and the Google TV interface is easy to use. As far as my use case with my PC, the input lag is very low (9-10ms). They feel very snappy and responsive as monitors. I've gamed on these for about 70 hours so far, and I've enjoyed every minute. The motion handling in particular on these is surprisingly good, some of the best I've seen on a 60hz panel. You can definitely tell the TV's motion processing is putting in work. Motion in games and videos is fluid and consistent. The brightness of the S5 isn't world-breaking, but it's sufficient for a dark to medium-lit room. If you live in a fishbowl with sunlight coming in from every direction, you may want to consider something else, but the brightness on these is plenty for most people. Reflection handling is good too. Other things I appreciate are the thin bezels, and the fact that these will stay on the input you had them set to prior to turning them off (if you select that option in the TV's settings). They won't force you to go to the home screen on start-up. I turn them on and I'm right at my computer's desktop. The only real con is that there is some dirty screen effect on them, but it's hardly noticeable in actual content. All in all I'd definitely recommend the S5. It is tough to beat for the price.

I love it The tv is very bright very loud and I love the google voice … I love how you can connect your phone to the tv I would definitely recommend to get this tv and the price was not bad at all I would definitely get another one.

We really like this TV. It’s high quality and big but slick and does not take up a bunch of space thickness wise. Sound is very good and has microphone command and all kinds of other features. We had this same brand but a smaller tv so this was a nice upgrade but we stayed with the brand because it’s a good value for the quality and size you get.

Hasn’t shown any issues besides audio cutting out every few months. But hasn’t shown any other issues worth returning the tv.

Overall a great tv honestly better then i thought it was be i was just looking for a cheap tv and it turned out great for my game room

I love all the free channels with google! And the pictures on screen are so clear I can see ever hair follicle on the actors. Takes a little getting usedto

Not even a year old and the internet connection stopped working!

Got for Christmas present works great put on wall mount.

Tv came broken on the back and no tv remote or tv stands to keep the tv up pretty sad.

Overall super happy with this TV. Great price for what it is and good picture quality. My only disappointment with this product was how the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) was advertised. From looking at this TV online I thought that it could display 120hz but it’s only 60hz. Not an issue for many, but for me was important.

This TV is very nice, the display is very vivid, colorful and bright. I am by no means a visualphile, or whatever, but the TV looks pretty good - not as good as an LG OLED, but good. I am knocking off one star due to the software. Google, locking down this device, means I am not able to download the Xfinity Stream App which I use to stream live cable TV which I pay for to my bedroom TV (this one). This annoys me to no end so I am returning the device for an Amazon TV which does have Xfinity Stream app support.

Great TV! Set up didn't take more than 10 minutes and the smart TV features are easy to use. The picture clarity is great, especially when watching sports. Love the size as well, didn't need anything huge but still wanted to make sure it was big enough for a personal TV. Highly recommend!

Great tv. I have two 50” and one 55” Great picture PS5 looks fantastic on all of them. One of 50” are and the 55” model year 2023 again great tvs. But my other 50” is the model year 2024, it has more features than the 2023 ones. Most significant is the on screen game mode. On the fly picture modes as well as brightness controls. Can even have the tv out a cross hair in the center so it’s always ready on FPS games. Highly recommend this brand!

Being skeptical of the brand name, but after reading good reviews I took a chance and purchased the 50" TCL. It surpassed my expectations in quality and resolution. The weight was unexpected and it appears to be a solid build.The color is awesome and the sound is great. Can't wait to see if longevity will be another plus. I am very pleased with my selection.
