Our old tv just stopped working, so I purchased this one to replace it. It has amazing picture quality and the sound is great. There are too many fun features to describe them all, but we love it so much... that we ended up buying a 2nd one for our bedroom 4 days later. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a budget TV and got way more than expected out of this one! Picture Quality is amazing. The brightness is fine for QLED, you can watch it with the curtains open. The best part is the blacks are true, not grayish. It also has a great picture for my Xbox series S and processes games smoothly. Very nice 55" TV for $300

Nice picture, thin, light tv, not a big fan of the Roku interface (I prefer Fire Tv better) tv volume on the side wish it was on the face, and if remote was backlit would be good, for the money the tv is worth it

Great OLED 55 INCH TV

Overall, my first impression of the TCL ARC800 TV is that it looks very modern. The design is sleek, and it sits on two legs that give it a clean, minimalist appearance. Setting up the TV was extremely easy. I didn’t have a Roku account beforehand, but signing up was simple thanks to the QR code displayed during setup. The remote is also very user‑friendly. It has a black‑and‑purple design with side buttons for volume and channel control, plus dedicated buttons for Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. The picture quality is impressive. Colors are vibrant without appearing oversaturated, and skin tones look natural. Gaming feels smooth with no noticeable lag, and motion blur is minimal. The TV features 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) resolution, HDR, and 4K upscaling for HD content. It also includes Auto Game Mode (ALLM) to reduce input lag. It has a standard 60 Hz refresh rate and a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. Roku offers a huge selection of apps to install. I stuck with some essentials — Hulu, Spotify, Howdy by Roku, Pluto TV, and Kids & Family on the Roku Channel — but there are dozens of options for every interest. The TV includes three HDMI ports on the back, along with an Ethernet port, Wi‑Fi capability, and a USB port. Overall, it’s a great TV for its size and price, offering strong performance and easy usability.

I normally buy Hisense. She told me to get this tv. Well, everytime I turn it on, i have to go to setting, ststem, power, restart or the tv won't work. It is so annoying.

Great TV, especially for the price

I got this TV as a replacement bedroom TV with relatively low expectations. I have been very pleased and think it punches well above it's weight class. PROS: Features: The build quality on this TV is solid. It is very thin and the and 3 HDMI ports, especially one eARC is nice. The roku interface/ system is equal parts familiar and easy. The wifi connection is great and, although I haven't needed it, the BT connection is perfect for a bedroom setup. Picture: The picture quality here is great. HDR brings great range and the refresh rate is nice. I will say that I had to do a good bit of tinkering as the default picture settings were quite dark. However, it can also get very bright if needed. Price: There really isn't a whole lot to say here. This TV is an incredible value. Well worth the price. Cons: None. I typically try to think of at least something to balance a review but I really couldn't here. It's not a flagship TV but it's not meant to be. If you are looking for a great TV for an even better price, look no further.

Great Smart tv for streaming entertainment

We’ve been using an older LG tv in our workshop and wanted to go to a tv that allowed us to utilize built-in streaming services that included the app for our tv provider. With our old tv we were required to use a mini receiver and incurred a monthly fee for this equipment. The TCL Q6LR does come with the stand included, but we mount our workshop tv on a wall mount and had no issues using our existing tv mount setup. Since this model uses Roku TV one has to set up a Roku account if you don’t already have one and a software update was also completed in short order and no issues were incurred. There is a bit of a learning curve to get used to the Roku interface and the TCL remote control layout, but our family member that is not a big fan of dealing with setting up electronics got used to utilizing the remote and moving around in Roku tv in a fairly short period of time. There are ample apps available for any streaming service one would need and this model is ideal for those wanting to cut the cord and stream their favorite apps. This TCL tv is responsive and even in a workshop utilizing wi-fi connectivity we have found the Roku tv interface to be pleasant to use. The remote is quite simplified compared to our previous televisions’ remotes as it includes no numbers and the volume/mute buttons are located on the side of the smaller sized remote. The remote does feature voice control and one touch access to popular streaming services. This tv features three HDMI inputs, including one with eARC and an Auto Game Mode (ALLM) automatically enables game mode. Of obvious importance is the display and picture quality and we’ve found the Q6LR to have a very nice picture with 4K Ultra HD resolution and QLED-quantum dot technology. The color contrast is quite good and pre-season football games have had good motion clarity so that met a must have. This TCL Q6LR is a very nice option for anyone using streaming services for their entertainment needs and the thin bezel of this model provides a very clean, sleek look. It is a nice trend to see picture quality ever improving, along with plentiful features at prices that are quite good. This will be our first TCL television, so we are hoping to get many years of use from the Q6LR.

Amazing picture quality, software is meh

TCL continues to impress me with the way it implements QLED to create a vibrant and bright screen, and it’s now in budget friendly lower tiers in a way I didn’t expect. The impressive nature of this TV starts with the panel itself. This TV is almost all screen. The bezels are incredibly thin and is really only there to frame the screen. When watching content you don’t even notice it. Even at the bottom there is a very small bump at the center that houses an LED to show power status and I believe a sensor or two for the remote. The feet are pretty minimal too. And this thing is light. I had no issue lifting it from the floor to put it on my stand. There are also plenty of input ports so you don’t need something like a receiver. If you have more than 4 devices you probably want something more anyway. The screen is so good. Initially turning it on I could tell this was going to be a huge upgrade to my previous screen. It launches immediately into setup and here is where I had some snags. Primarily that it goes through setup as if you are going to use the built in Roku software. If so, it’s fine. But I use another streaming device and a sound system so the Roku software struggled for me. I had to back out a couple of times to essentially make the right choices to set the TV up as a basic TV and not a smart TV. Once I did that it was fine. This set up makes starting up slower. I think this is just because the TV is designed to have Roku up front. Not ideal for someone like me who uses other services and devices. However, for what it is, a TV, I’m very happy. 4k HDR content on this TV is breathtaking. Cable streaming is good enough, very bright and colorful, but 1080 content like that is a little fuzzy. But that’s content, not the fault of the TV. For the price this TV is amazing. Great value. Keeps itself updated and it’s pretty snappy considering it’s not a higher dollar device.
