TCL - 55" Class QM7K Series 4K UHD QD Mini LED Smart TV with Google TV (2025) - Open Box - Good

This TV blew me away when I got it set up. From the crystal clear picture to stunning dolby atmos sound. For the price this TV is hands down the only choice. If your a gamer like myself just buy it now... You will not regret it I promise you. Pair it with a back govee backlight and you'll never leave your living room again. The HDR is incredibly accurate and vibrant. The blacks are like ink black almost it's incredible. The increase refresh makes everything looks buttery smooth. The OS is snappy and easy to use. The gaming side is so good it literally changed how how the graphics look to the point it's like did I upgrade my ps5 or my tv? Lol Best TV out period no... BUT feature and quality to price point absolutely unbeatable.

I was skeptical about upgrading to a Mini LED panel but this TV changed my mind fast. The QM7K's picture quality is outstanding, blacks are deep, colors pop without looking oversaturated, and the brightness gets high enough that it handles bright rooms well too. Gaming on this thing is a treat; response time is snappy and motion looks clean. Google TV is easy to navigate and I haven't had any issues finding my apps. Setup was straightforward and the build feels solid for the price point. Honestly didn't expect to be this happy with it, cause it punches well above what I paid.

I’m blown away by this TV, especially for the price. The picture quality and contrast are excellent, thanks to the impressive local dimming. It looks remarkably close to my Alienware QD-OLED gaming monitor, while getting significantly brighter. The brightness is extremely high in a dark room, but the excellent controls and automatic room-brightness adjustment make it easy to manage. It’s also more than bright enough during the day, even next to a large window. Sound quality is surprisingly good for a TV, and Google TV is responsive, polished, and feature-rich. The TV is lightweight but still feels premium and well-built. Best Buy gave me the wrong remote and couldn’t replace it, but I bought one online and it has worked perfectly. For the price, I wasn’t expecting this level of quality. I highly recommend it.

I'm so impressed by this tv, I felt compelled to leave a review. I shopped for quite a while and read a lot of reviews before this purchase and I couldn't be more happy. I'll lead by saying I have very limited experience with OLED panels, aside from seeing them on display in store. What I do have experience with is high end lcd panels. I have to say that mini led is a huge leap for her content. It's not quite OLED but compared to the older TV it's replacing that had local dimming zones, the contrast is night and day. Hdr content pops so hard " I can't believe it's not OLED" one major advantage it has is peak brightness, this tv can get so bright you can hang it in your sunroom and still enjoy hdr. The gaming experience is just as good as other media, my games have never looked this good and when setup properly, input lag and latency is comparable to my 1080p 240hz gaming lg gaming monitor. The UI is decently snappy and I am quite partial the the Google software. Makes pairing Bluetooth devices and adding apps a breeze. The entire UI of the TV is very well thought out and streamlined, just pay attention to the pop ups while first navigating the setup. I also can't go without mentioning the sound, my setup is not ideal, I have the TV at the foot of my bed near the middle of the room and the sound is still good enough I haven't felt the need to turn my Klipsch speakers on unless I'm watching a movie and want all the theater experience. There are actually two small subwoofers on the back of the panel that manage to make ample bass even out in the middle of the room, I can only imagine that if this TV was close to a wall I wouldnt need an external speaker setup at all. There are settings to add an external subwoofer to the internal speakers and hope to try that out in the future. So if you're on the fence about a purchase and this TV is checking the boxes for you, don't hesitate, I have zero complaints.

I went to Best Buy shopping for an OLED television. When I started looking at the actual displays, though, I realized I liked the Mini-LED models better. This TCL has great picture quality and brightness, plus a variety customization options. My personal favorite is the Filmmaker Mode. What really sold me was the built-in Bang and Olufsen sound system. I'm not used to modern TV's also having great sound. Action movies, concerts, they all sound great with the factory speakers and subwoofer. No separate sound bar is necessary for immersive movie watching. I'm also a fan of the Google TV operating system. It's efficient, reliable, and can be customized with user-selected launchers. I'm happy I didn't just automatically buy an OLED without checking the alternatives. I am very pleased with this Mini-LED model.
