Solid performance overall. People undecided between the QM5K vs QM6K , QM5K has everything the QM6K has bar 144hz refresh rate (since almost eveyone streams their sports via apps in usa this is not gonna help you in any way. if the source is good quality with higher bit rate then only it matters .For all app related sports this feature is redundant) for games you can use at 2k 144hz so you are not missing out. QM5Ks have 3 hdmi ports with only one port is full bandwidth 2.1 port (shouldn’t matter for most unless you are using dedicated blu ray or 4k player with dedicated sound setup in which case there is one still available on the QM5K) Overall the picture quality the brightness and overall quality matches with QM6K for a lot lesser

Once you fiddle with the picture settings, this is a great looking TV. I turned off all of the motion smoothing stuff because it was doing the opposite of what it was all supposed to do. Once that stuff was turned off and I adjusted the various color and brightness settings I really started to love the picture. For this price point(50% off MSRP when I purchased) it’s an exceptional TV. The blacks are very black and the colors quite vivid once you dial in those settings. I mostly watch YouTube, Hulu and 4K Blu-ray movies on it and I frequently change between custom image presets depending on the content, which is quick and easy with just a couple of presses. There’s also a quickly accessible setting to put on a blue light filter for more comfortable viewing at night, or if you just have sensitive eyes. The sound is also surprisingly good. Even at higher volumes it’s very crisp and accurate. I was going to get a sound bar for it, but it’s not necessary.

Refresh rate seems slightly less than stated by the manufacturer, it does have great color quality and the picture is quite nice . Only had it for a few weeks but I did have a glitch with my soundbar not working with the tv ( read that a lot of others have had the same issue) mine resolved itself.. Given the price point at the time of purchase and the overall quality, it’s a good TV.

The price for what you’re paying is great. Especially if you catch it on sale. The picture and sound quality are great and the tv is light weight in itself. My brother and I hung it up on the wall with no issues.

After 9 or so years our Samsung started to go bad. I wasn’t looking to drop a ton of money and did a good bit of research before landing on this model. I was back and forth between this and the qm6k. I decided to save some money and get the qm5k, we don’t game so the lower refresh rate wasn’t as important for us. Very happy with the tv, great colors and performs well in our bright living room. For the price this tv is hard to beat. Built in speakers seem decent, but I have ours hooked to a surround sound, so can’t say too much about them overall. Now that I’ve moved away from the big names, I think TCL will continue to get my business.

I’m honestly really happy with this TCL TV. For the price, the picture quality is way better than I expected. The colors are bright, it’s super clear, and streaming shows and movies look great. Setup was quick and easy — I had it up and running in no time. I also like how simple the menu is to navigate. The apps load fast and I haven’t had any lag issues. The sound is decent on its own, but paired with a soundbar it’s perfect. Overall, it feels like I got way more than what I paid for. Definitely a solid buy and I’d recommend it if you want something affordable that still performs really well.

Very good TV for the price! If you need a 65 inch tv with great colors and blacks, go for this one. Best Buy helped load this into my vehicle and were nice doing it.

Awesome screen. The darks and blacks are very good, the colors are bright and the upscaling for those rare higher framerate inputs does a very reasonable job. For the money I don't think you can possibly get a better tv. Works like something that cost twice as much.

I would highly recommend this TV to a friend. The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and deep blacks thanks to the Mini-LED technology. The Google TV interface is generally fast and easy to navigate. Especially if you are well invested into the Google ecosystem. I mainly use it for gaming (call of duty and RPG's) and honestly worth every penny. It also has extremely good sound quality

To start this is my living room tv my bedroom tv is a lg c2. This has a Great picture. Sound is pretty good for tv speakers. Before this tv I had a 5 year old tcl 4k pretty early basic led tv. If the old tv was a 0 on picture quality scale and oled was 100 this would easily be a 80. which is pretty dang good. I highly recommend

Excellent TV honestly. Coming from a premium Samsung TV that just got old. Only gripes is the slow hardware, traversing the home menu is pretty slow.

We purchased this tv for our living room, which gets a lot of afternoon sun. We chose this tv, as it was listed as good for brighter rooms. It performs well under both bright & dark conditions. Some reviews commented on the sound quality, but we have found nothing to complain about. In fact, my husband complimented the sound while we watched a movie last week

It’s an amazing product for the price. Probably the best one you can get at this price point. I play a lot of video games on my TCL QD Mini Led and the game master makes them run really smooth. Also the built in quality it’s great. The picture quality is top tier, it features dolby vision and dolby vision game. I would recommend a 1000%

This TV is awesome for the price. We needed a TV that could handle the glare from our windows that are positioned directly opposite from the TV. This TV handles the glare very well, and it has great picture and a good set of features that are actually pretty impressive. Once you calibrate the picture settings to your liking, what more could you ask for at this price? I’m sure there that is a greater wow factor from a QM6, 7 or 8, but if you don’t want to spend the extra money on an OLED and you don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, then this TV definitely hits that sweet spot.

I purchased this TV for outdoor use. It should be noted that it is not intended for that, but it is under roof coverage and has a TV cover when not in use. The excellent image quality is outstanding, especially when watching television in a daytime. For the price, I am extremely happy with the level of product I have.

I bought this with a Samsung soundbar, and lights for the back of the tv and it really transformed my living room into a home movie room. The light/image quality is spotless. Watching any movie it pictures really well. It’s the perfect size for any living room. The Home Screen is well organized, it loads quickly. Overall a good product for any home

The picture quality is excellent — very sharp and vibrant, especially for the price point. There can be a bit of glare depending on the lighting in the room, but overall the viewing experience is impressive. The sound quality is solid for a built-in TV system, though pairing it with a soundbar would make it even better. For the value, this is a great TV choice.

I was a little skeptical because it was mini led instead of OLED but I love this tv! Vibrant colors, lighter and thinner than my previous 65”. Plus it was easy to attach to the mount I already had. Remote has quick button features to get to apps easy and overall setup was a breeze. It even has specific color settings for gaming so it’s great with my ps5. I definitely recommend this if you’re in the market for a new tv at an affordable price.

I got this TV for 499.99 +tax coming to a total of about $531. I love to use it its has everything espically casting. I like how it syncs with my google acounts so i dont have to login for each apps set up. I dislike how my phone disconnects from the tv so i have to restart my app or my phone to be able to use my phone as a remote. Thats my only dislike! Everything else is amazing. Its huge and has perfect picture.
