Customer Ratings & Reviews

I wasn't looking for top of the line, but what I got was excellent quality at a great price (Under $600 before Xmas 2025) for an 85 inch 4K TV. My needs were a 4K QLED 85 inch with clear picture (no squinting needed) and fast boot up time. I have several Fire TVs and I enjoy the simple OS with Alexa capabilities. It was delivered in perfect condition from Best Buy well within the allotted delivery window time. When I unboxed it and hung it on my wall, I was amazed with the picture quality at this size on a TV. I know there are better TVs but this suits my needs in watching movies, TV shows, and occasional XBox gaming. I have had no issues with the Fire TV OS and I have been able to log into all streaming apps needed. The volume levels are good although I know a separate sound system will make it better. This TV ticks all the boxes needed for my viewing pleasure and mostly I don't have to squint any more to see the picture or closed captioning on the screen. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Absolutely blown away by our new 85” TV! The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and crystal-clear resolution that makes every show and movie feel like a cinematic experience. The size is perfect for our living room, creating an immersive viewing experience that’s great for family movie nights or game day. Setup was straightforward, and the smart features are intuitive and easy to navigate. If you’re on the fence about upgrading to a larger TV, do it—you won’t regret it!

I recently upgraded to the TCL 85" Q5-Series QLED Smart Fire TV (2024), and I must say – this TV completely exceeded my expectations! Picture Quality (10/10): The QLED panel delivers breathtaking colors, incredible brightness, and deep contrast thanks to the HDR PRO+ support. Watching 4K content feels like you're looking through a window. Even non-4K content is upscaled beautifully. Size & Immersion: 85 inches of pure cinematic glory. It's like having a personal movie theater at home. Gaming and sports feel larger than life – every detail is crisp, smooth, and responsive. Fire TV Integration: Seamless experience with Alexa built-in, quick access to all major apps, and a super intuitive interface. The voice remote works perfectly, and switching between streaming services is incredibly fast. Sound: Surprisingly powerful for built-in speakers, but I paired it with a soundbar for a true home theater vibe. Still, out of the box, it’s impressive. Design: Sleek bezels and premium build – it looks elegant in any space. Despite the size, it’s relatively easy to mount or set up with a stand. Value: For this price point, TCL offers unbeatable value. You're getting top-tier quality and smart features without breaking the bank. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a massive, immersive, and future-ready TV with brilliant color and Fire TV built in – THIS is it. I absolutely love this TV and would recommend it 100%.

Good image quality and excellent size for the price.

This is for sure one of the biggest TVs I’ve ever purchased but it’s also most definitely the best picture that I’ve had the pleasure of seeing in my own home. I would definitely recommend this TV to anybody that wants a huge screen, amazing picture and a great sound

For the price, I’m honestly loving this TV! It’s completely changed the vibe of my living room. I’m not the kind of person who’s obsessed with perfect picture quality, but I did take a look at this QLED compared to the more expensive 85-inch mini-LEDs in the store. Sure, the colors were a bit more vibrant on the pricier models, but the difference wasn’t enough to make me fork out an extra $1,000. If you’re torn between a 75-inch and an 85-inch, just go for the bigger one—you’ll definitely be glad you did. Go big or go home!

Very clean picture. I’ve rewatched movies I’ve seen for years & noticed things I’ve never seen. I thought it was going to be thinner because it’s a new model but it was still easy to set up on its stand. Overall, I'm happy I chose this TV.

the quality for the price is unbeatable. it’s almost like having a home theater with the 85”. i feel like at times it can run a little slow going from app to app but other than that it’s great the majority of the time.

I absolutely love this TV! I upgraded from a 55" TCL I had for about 5 years before I decided I wanted bigger. The old TCL still works great and has never given me any issues. I absolutely love TCL!

Great big screen, sturdy stand, and Fire TV has tons of cool choices for apps and channels. The only bad thing is the sound. Just get yourself a pair of speakers and you're good! 2 months later and I'm still impressed with the massive size of this TV.

Great tv to be an off brand or not one the majors had it for 2 years almost still beautiful and big will buy again just a bigger size maybe 90 or 100

I haven’t played with it to give a full review, but i can attest to the picture which is excellent. Its like watching stories (General Hospital) back in the day when i was a kid.

Absolutely love this television I went from 46" to 85" Q-LED. Thereis any comparison. My wife even enjoys watching tv now. So much better piture clarity.

I really love the size of this screen, you cannot beat it at this price point. There is a slight delay as you navigate through apps and such. It's not the fastest smart TV but it's the only one this large in our budget and picture is great.

Too big in box to fit in anything other than a truck. Its perfect. I can watch tv without my glasses on now.

Awesome tv love it for ps5 and football, great color easy to hook up

Great picture and sound and absolutely looks great when watching anime or movies or even gaming.

Great value for money. The sound is just okay though, but when attached to a sound bar it enhances it.

Talk about putting yourself in the action. Gaming on this TV is awesome. Watching sports is great. Added a TCL sound bar because TV speakers are not adequate.

Sports tv Slow interface Decent picture quality It come with commercials You will need a sound bar, no exceptions
