Ok, I won’t really type 21, but I can tell you from experience this is the best minimalist protective case I have found. My first tech21 case was years ago. When I had the iPhone 6, someone gave me a Speck case. After one drop in that case, my Touch ID stopped working. I immediately went back to tech21. This case is everything you dreamed of. Tall, thin, dark and sexy with nothing extra getting in the way. The sheerness of the material adds that extra something something, and the design ensures you can press all the right buttons to get things going. It is almost as good as a naked phone, but protected enough you aren’t constantly in fear of getting too rough. Siri will thank you for this new outfit.

Have dropped my phone on numerous occasions without a scratch or dent to the phone. This is my third time purchasing a Tech 21 case, as they are reliable, sturdy, and classy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a sturdy case without the added bulk.

These cases have been my go to phone protection since iPhone 6. They’ve always protected my phone from accidental drops and slips into my pocket. This case feels just like those previous versions except for one desgin change that almost makes me want to look for a different case for my iPhone X. It’s all about the button covers on the power and volume. This new design has a singular small stem in the center of the button cover that sits over the center of the button, so in order to depress the power or either volume you would need to press in the center of the button cover. With the previous models there was a molded peice that covers the expanse of the entire button through the case so you could press on the edge and still ‘press’ the button on the phone. Meaning if your like me and you reach for the power button you can’t just press on the bottom edge of the power button to activate it, you may have to readjust your hand or reach a little higher to the center of the power button to actually press the button. It’s not so bad with the volume buttons since they are smaller, but because of the iPhone X’s larger power button redesign this change to the case is fairly annoying. If you could look past that flaw on this case, then great go for it!

Case is sturdy and offers great protection against drops. This is my third Tech 21 case for a new phone purchased, and it has not let me down. Case is not too bulky, which is a plus!

This case is light weight and has strong protection for my new XS iPhone. It is attractive as well!

This case is awesome for my new iPhone X. I tried several other cases but returned them. This case does not add any bulk yet provides the best protection. It looks sleek but not slippery at all. I feel very confident holding it in my hand. All the control buttons are easily accessible. The back is clear enough to not hide the Apple logo.

I couldn’t be happier with this case. Number one, it does a great job protecting my new iPhone X. It is not bulky so it doesn’t take up my entire pocket. It is made of a soft flexible material, which not only provides shock absorption, but it makes my phone easier to hang onto when using it one handed without being some crazy grip monster that doesn’t want to come out of your jeans pocket without a fight. The smokey black case has some transparency and doesn’t take away from the aesthetics Apple is known for. I combined this case with an InvisibleShield HD Glass+ screen protector and I don’t have to fret over the all glass design of my phone which some people have discovered, can be fragile. I would definitely recommend this line of cases as I’m sure the other color options are no different.

I've been using Tech21 cases for all my iPhones. They have very good grip and protect my iPhones well. The new one for X seems a bit less bulky which is awesome. Overall I'm very happy with Tech21 iPhone cases. I really hope Tech21 will build bumpers for iPhones.

I really like this case. The color, flexibility, fit and protectiveness of it. Yet it's simple and easy to put on, easy to take off as well. If I remove it from the bottom of my phone first it comes off without a lot of struggle. I like that unlike with some other phone cases that are hard to get off! All in all this is a great phone case and one of my favorites, I recommend it.

Fits well, slim design that protects the phone well. Rim protects the screen and another the camera on the back. Only concern is the flimsyness at the cutout for the lightening port. That area bends easily and seems like it will wear out and break long before the case would need to be replaced.

This case uses technology to provide shock protection, while hardly being noticed as a case. The soft feel of the plastic exterior belies the strength of protection. The details of the design make certain that all buttons and functions of the phone work easily as intended, while the rolled edges protect the screen from touching a flat floor if dropped. The case seems too simple to be so functional.

This case (combined with a plastic screen protector) has protected my iPhone 7 Plus from falls of up to 6 feet over the last year. I tried cases from other prominent manufacturers but found them to be either unneccessarily bulky (and thus inconvenient when putting my phone in my pocket) or not as protective (typically, the raised "lip" surrounding the screen is too thin, increasing the likelihood of a direct hit on the screen during a fall).

this tech21 case has been a relief without compromise. You want something lightweight but equally as protective, well look no further. The case itself is sleek, easy to wipe clean, and very lightweight and super protective.

So I have had an IPhone for some years now, and for the past 3 or 4 I have put the same case Tech 21! It is sleek, comfortable, and provides significant protection. I have already dropped my iPhone X several times getting out of the car, but still no scratches. Highly recommended!!!!!

Best lightweight case out there. Great texture, protection without the bulk. Not slick, able to have a great grip on phone.

The case fit perfectly. Snug, but not so tight that I worried that I would break the phone getting it on. Some cases seemed slippery to me, but this one has a good grip. I like the fact that it's glossy on the edges--this goes very well with the glass screen protector. Looks great.

This case only adds a little bit of bulk to the phone and fits in the pocket well. Offers great protection and we've used them for 2-3 years at work as well. I prefer the rubber like feel to it for grip and so it doesn't slide around on the center console or other surfaces. And being pretty transparent, I slide a business card in the back just in case someone honest finds it if misplaced. You still have to have some faith in humanity right?

Tech 21 makes great protective cases with a slim profile. Great looking case improves the grip of your new iPhone X. This case offers great drop protection. If your looking for a slim case with great drop protection I would recommend this case!

I’ve owned a Tech 21 evo case for my previous 2 iPhones (6&7) love how slim, grippy it is while still offering great protection for my phones. When I recently upgraded to the iPhone X there was no question which case I was going to get for it.
