Customer Ratings & Reviews

This case does the job it feels clean and I am able to type on my Mac comfortably. I am happy that Michael went ahead and ordered this for me with the Mac I appreciate him a lot.

With the exception of the screen protector, which customer service assisted me with, the product arrived in excellent shape. This product, in my opinion is outstanding and the customer support is incredibly responsive.

This is a great add-on protection with a little style for my Mac. Extra protection, for scratches and spills can’t ask for anything more.

I have a Thule computer backpack that is well padded for travelling. When I took my computer out of my bag, the cover had split all the way down the top from the corner. The weird part is the area broken is where the computer was facing up in the backpack. If you plan to travel with your computer I would not recommend this cover for protection.

Perfect fit, real protection, smart extras — worth it. ★★★★★ This case does exactly what I wanted: it snaps on cleanly with a precise, injection-molded fit and a slim profile that doesn’t bulk up the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The sturdy, lightweight hard shell shrugs off scratches and dings, and the venting on the bottom keeps temps in check during heavy workloads while leaving every port and button fully accessible (Touch ID included).

The color of this product is just gorgeous. I can use this on my computer and everyone knows it’s mine! I like that it has protection for the screen, keyboard and cover: top and bottom. Good job in the specks. Like that everything fits nicely done! No sharp edges and vents are clear. Arrived without any problems. We wanted to keep our MBP 16” looking like new. Thank you Best Buy!

I'm overall satisfied with this purchase. There aren't very many trusted brands for shell cases on this new release 2021 macbook pro and I was both skeptical and hesitant to purchase random ones on amazon with mixed reviews. There were hardly any reviews on this item but I figured since best had only one or two options for this model laptop that they would be trusted products. The case fits nice and snug and still allows full function of ports, hinge, speakers, and vents. The case is slim and minimal not bulky at all. It does not slip and slide around on the laptop. I would recommend this item to any macbook pro 16" 2021 release owners.

Didn’t like the feel of the keyboard. Just use can of air to clean the cracks between your keyboard keys and a cleaning wipe to wipe off the keys. Nothing beats the feel of the actual keys without a cover on. But the shell case for the MacBook is very useful, it’s also a better grip to get it out of the backpack than the slippery metal case of a heavy MacBook Pro. Although the feel of the original metal body is superior, the case is better for a work laptop that’s constantly taken in and out of the pack for onsite work

If you own a 16-inch MacBook Pro from 2021 to 2024, this Techprotectus snap-on shell nails the basics and then some. It’s injection-molded for a precise fit and features full venting for effective heat dissipation. It leaves every port and the Touch ID area accessible. Even better, the box includes a keyboard cover and a screen protector—two practical add-ons that most cases require you to buy separately. What I like Dialed-in compatibility: Explicitly designed for the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021–2024) with Touch ID; supports model numbers A3403, A3186, A2991, A2780, A2485. Translation: no guesswork about fit. Protection with no fuss: Sturdy, lightweight two-piece shell shields against everyday scratches and dings, and the venting helps the laptop breathe. Great value: The included keyboard cover and screen protector meaningfully extend protection for high-touch areas. Peace of mind: Comes with a straightforward warranty for added assurance. Keep in mind A hard shell, not a rugged drop case or a waterproof sleeve—think of it as providing scuff and scratch protection first. Compatibility is precise by design. If your MacBook Pro isn’t one of the listed A-numbers, choose a different case. Setup tips Check your Mac’s A-model on the bottom case before ordering. Clean the surfaces, then snap the two-piece shell on gently from the top. Apply the keyboard cover and screen protector to protect the hinge side from damage. Nex trapped dust. Verdict Techprotectus delivers a clean, precise fit with sensible protection and bonus accessories that make it a standout value for 16-inch MacBook Pro owners from 2021 to 2024. If you want a no-drama daily shell that looks neat, vents properly, and covers the high-wear areas out of the box, this one’s easy to recommend.

I cover all my devices. This cover is a reasonably priced cover. Nothing fancy, but I like that about it. Very nice periwinkle color. I am using the keyboard cover to keep the keyboard protected from crumbs, or fluids. Although I try not to eat and work at the laptop, sometimes crumbs happen. I haven't used the screen cover. I'm not a fan of touching the screen.

The case isn’t transparent like the photos and doesn’t show the Apple logo. I’ve had it for two months and it’s a little scraped up from my backpack already. It’s a decent temporary case though!

Great case looks good screen protector that comes with it not the best had to throw it away couldn’t get it to apply to the screen correctly

This case is a great alternative if you're on a budget. The screen and keyboard protector has held up nicely for the past seven months and the keyboard protector hasn't faded or stretched out. Though you can't see the Apple logo, I don't think that's key when wanting to protect your $3,000+ laptop. Some fingerprints are noticeable but not to a point where the case looks dirty (I rarely notice half of the time). I did notice some small cracks on the edges of the top shell but overall, my MacBook still looks fresh out of the box and the actual edges are fine. Customer service has been wonderful in terms of providing support and addressing the issue.

The bottom case didnt snap on. Falls off the bottom. But overall it was great.

Excellent case. I like the slightly mat finish of this compared to the clear dot covers. This black finish makes for a better one-handed grip to pick up the laptop; clear dot case is more slippery. But be sure you get the right one. I bought my Pro in 2021, so assumed it was a 2021. Turns out it was a 2019, and there is a fraction of an inch difference in size. Also, the feet on the bottom of the laptop are not in the same positions, so this one did not fit. Easy return directly back to a Best Buy store. My email to the company that sent it from my online order was not promising about the return. If you have any problems, take it back to Best Buy.

Gets the job done — it’ll help prevent scratches and dents. Great value considering all that’s included (keyboard cover, screen protector, and case). Mine arrived with a tiny chip and had to exchange but the second one is holding up well!

The case fits the computer well, however the keyboard cover often falls off and the order never included the screen protector in the package.

its dandy but shows finger prints on its surface so it looks dirty

A very nice quality case, keyboard cover and it looks like from the bag, two not one screen protectors, one for backup. Everything got applied when I got home. Excellent product.

Love color and the keyboard cover and light weight
