It's a good fighting game but some of my old characters from past games are not in this one . However the new characters make up for it. If you follow the story from previous tekken then you'll be suprise with this one. I would recommend if you're a tekken fan. There is also a new fighting system that's new called rage art.

This is a nice addition to the series, I absolutely love playing tekken for the thrill of strategy and mind games when it comes to fighting online against other people. If you are like me and stink at 2D fighting games, you might want to give Tekken's 3D battles a try. It's gorgeous, and has so much more to offer than just button mashing and stringing out long combos. If you're a newcomer to tekken this will be a tough game to master, and there are veteran players online that you may come across that seem impossible to beat. However, do not panic!!! If you're willing to put the time in to REALLY learn tekken [as in getting into the details with movements, punishers, and etc. (which by the way is all wonderfully explained by a quick youtube tutorial)] i promise you will have adrenaline pumping fights! It does take time, and quick fingers and reflexes. The fighters all have their unique styles, and there are a lot of silly items that you can customize into your character that makes tekken seem lighthearted and funny. If you're playing through story mode, get ready for some amazingly awesome cutscenes! Highly recommend!

Excellent graphics and customizations. Fighting system pretty much the same as the other iterations with the exception of rage drives. Awesome soundtrack which covers the entire series and can customize for each stage. Celebration back to top-notch fighting form to be the King of Iron fist Tournament.

Big fan of the tekken series. This might be my favorite one of the series. New cool features like loot chess mode so you can Customize your characters. Tons of fun. A lot of replay value. A must own for all tekken fans.

Tekken broke ground as a solid 3D-ish fighter back during the PS1 days and the series have progressed to this 7th installment (not counting the Street Fighter Xover game). I'm happy Namco-Bandai is now taking time to make a new Tekken every few years because the fighting game genre is not what it used to be with strong candidates from Injustice, BlazBlue, and to an extent Killer Instinct (Xbox One) and the Marvel v Capcom series. Tekken 7 is a very good fighting game that's quite deep but retains the timed button pressing combos of yesteryear. The Day 1 edition has a few more bonuses, so getting this version is best. The Hori fightsicks work well with this Tekken although there is no special edition packaging that came with a stick this time around.

Tekken 7 has done a great job of making a more accessible Tekken for new comers while retaining the mechanical complexity the series is known for. The graphics and animations are great, the ability to customize your characters is still there (and items can be unlocked very easily), the Akuma adaption has been handled very well (low forward fireball, tatsu>dp, etc. still works), and there's a ton of content. If you like fighting games, seriously get this.

This is the best Tekken yet. Plenty of characters, beautiful backgrounds, and the same classic game play that you fell in love with decades ago.

Campy story and side stories, characters ranging from absurd to fun to embodiments of the rule of cool. There's a little something for everyone in this cast and that is bleeding out in how each member plays as well. Tekken 7 as a content rich game for casual gaming is not what Tekken 7 exists as. This is a game that has individual characters ranging from incredibly technical to easy to figure out. And that range allows for newcomers like me to pick up a character and find content in learning my character. I have not enjoyed learning combo strings as much as I have until Tekken 7. Hits feel visceral, the passing of blows feels kinetic, and there is simply something masterful in how well movesets play into each other. The diversity of this cast is staggering, and more than that is how much there is to learn. That cycle of learning combos, perfecting them and learning something new to perfect. Learning your move list and feeling out what moves are worth utilizing.. There's so much depth that the 1v1 experience in my opinion is all that's needed. A generous amount of customization options to unlock as well to make your Josie stand out from other Josies.

Tekken 7 is the best entry in the Tekken series since Tekken 5. Unlike most fighting games, Tekken is a 3D fighter where each button corresponds to one of your character's limbs. The level of control and tightness of the gameplay mesh for a very unique fighting game experience that you can only find in Tekken. A myriad of new additions make this particular entry feel very fresh makes the game more accessable to newcomers, such as the new Rage Arts, that are similar to super moves you'd find in most 2D fighting games such as Street Fighter. For the first time, there is a cinematic story mode that creates unique situations you would otherwise never experience during normal gameplay. And thankfully much beloved features such as character customization have returned, allowing you to completely change the appearance of your favorite characters and customize them to your liking. Tekken takes a bit of time to become proficient at, but it's well worth it. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is amazing, and the online matches can provide endless hours of entertainment. I would highly recommend this game to all fighting game fans.

Really enjoyed the Tekken franchise over years, and this latest entry is no different. Finally after years of buildup, The Mishima Saga comes to a close. Old mysteries finally have answers, while new questions arise. An added bonus is guest character Akuma from the Street Fighter series, and Geese Howard from The King of Fighters, are the currently playable guest characters. If you're a fan of Tekken and an avid fighting game enthusiast, then this is definitely for you.

Another installment in the Tekken series. Everything you love about past installments is back, with a whole slew of unlockables that allow you to play mix and match to an even greater degree than the 6th installment did. Graphics are better than ever, though it's hard to notice fine details at fighting distance. My only complaint are the paid DLC. Not only characters, but clothing options. The random unlockables are also annoying, as it takes a long time to get what you want unlocked. Still, it's a lot of fun, unless you didn't like past installments. If that is the case, there's nothing that switches things up enough to change your mind. .

Tekken 7 is another strong entry in the long running franchise with a healthy online community and enough depth to reward practice. The story mode is a welcome addition and while not of the same Calibur of a Netherrealm game (Mortal Kombat; Injustice) it is far better than what was offered in Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite earlier this year.

Probably the best fighting game out right now ! Story mode is short but if you love mastering combos & chain attacks this is a good game to pick up lots of variations & huge selection of characters each with their own unique styles unlike many new fighting games that have been coming out recently . Definitely gives you that arcade type of vibe !

If you love the Tekken franchise, then you'll definitely love Tekken 7. It has Story Mode, Treasure Battle to unlock costumes, accesories for your characters & Online Mode to Rank Up to become the greatest Tekken player. I'd recommend this game to anyone who follows the Fighting Game Community, especially if you want to get to the higher ranks.
