This a good continuation of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films. It is in 3D plus 2D. I am a 3D collector so I was mainly interested in this version. While "in your face" 3D is minimal there are moments where it is effectively used, e.g., chainsaw thrown at the screen. The 3D mainly is used to add depth to the scenes and is done well. Plot and acting are all okay. Alexandra Daddario is always an "easy-on-your eyes" plus in this and other films. The action is good and there is, of course, gruesomeness with people being tortured and killed. This film is not for children. All in all, I found this to be an entertaining film and would recommend it to others- especially to add to your 3D collection.

This is a thriller from way back. I didn't have Chainsaw in 3D so I ordered it for my collection. After all these years the movie still scares me. Still had me on the edge of my seat and biting my fingernails the whole movie.

I liked the action and the list of actors along with the plot of the movie. It kept me entertained and at the edge of my seat. I loved the build up to the reveal at the end of the film. Im glad that I made this purchase and have this movie in my collection!

Liked the movie but it didn't have enough 3d, I wish it had more.

I had no desire to see this after being so disappointed with the previous movie was VERY happy to pick it up when it was so cheap for the 3D version. This is an honest sequel to the original Tobe Hooper classic. It literally starts up with a recap of the first one and then gets right into the action back in the 70s. Tobe Hooper is on an awesome commentary track giving it his blessing and singing it's praises and that's worth the price of the disc alone. The modern day stuff isn't the best, the actors (and particularly actresses) aren't the best, but it's a horror movie so what do you expect? There is some decent gore and the 3D affects are quite nice. It's mostly just depth of field, but occasionally there is a gimmicky jump out of the screen 3D affect which is to be expected. If you're a fan of horror in general, you should enjoy it. If you like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you will probably LOVE IT or HATE IT...but should appreciate that it is a true sequel.

If you appreciate this for what it is, a retelling/updating of the original Texas Chainsaw movie, it is a pretty decent movie. There are some gory kills and a nice backstory for the heroine. I enjoyed the 3D version of the movie - it added some extra splatter (for not any more $$). It doesn't beat the original but it does add a few good "what if" possibilities to the original.

The movie is corny but still fun to watch in 3d. You mostly get a good laugh if in good company. There’s about two parts where the 3d really matters (jumps out at you) other than that you kind of forget you’re watching a 3d movie.

If it's a movie involving Leatherface, then I'm in. This movie is odd as it does not make a whole lot of sense chronological speaking (it's a direct sequel to the '74 original), but it's entertaining for sure.

I iked it...I thought it was a little better than aerage. The story line was a bit updated which made it more interesting. The 3D was not gimicky, just to enhance the cinematography. You can do a heck of a lot worse than this picture. I dont regret buying it.

This movie is a bit underrated. Most Texas Chainsaw movies are all pretty much the same. This one actually has a decent storyline and good 3D. This is my favorite Texas Chainsaw movie to come out in the last 20 years.

This is a direct sequel to the original TCM. The movie starts right where the original ends. After the prologue, the movie jumps ahead 20 years (which should place it in the early/mid 1990s, but it's in modern day, thus a HUGE plot hole) to see the young baby survivor of the Sawyer clan grown up. She inherits a house that also comes with her relative, Leatherface! If you turn off your brain and ignore the obviously timeline screwup, the movie is decent. The ending really doesn't make any logical sense and turns Leatherface into a sympathetic character. I don't really agree with the film in that sense.

Great movie if you are into horror. The 3D was great just wish there were more “pop” scenes. Work the price and love the cover!

It's on par with the other reboots. The twist with leather face is a nice change up. I love the chainsaw brand except for the 94 release. This isn't the best one, but it's a bit more refreshing.
