My granddaughter loves this item for school, easy to use and small to carry

This calculator is amazing. I use it for Calculus, basic arithmetic, plotting graphs. Honestly I use it all the time and it just does its thing really well. The battery lasts forever. Recently learned how to program keys, Which was useful for me because I constantly have to reference the mass of an electron or the speed of light or plankks constant. It’sa calculator folks, and a good one. I will be handing this down to my children.

I was taking a statistics class and needed to get a TI 83 or the TI 84. I chose the TI-83 plus because it was cheaper and had no more use for it after the class. The TI-83 plus worked perfectly. I was able to do all my calculations, and worked flawlessly. I also had the chance to use the TI-84, which was a little more user friendly. All in all, got the job done perfectly.

This is a great graphing calculator. My son needed one for algebra 1 and I hated to spend the money for basically a partial semester use item. But the price was great compared to others and it really helps my son keep his grades up in math.

Good calculator, easy to use and at just the right price

This calculator is great and a life saver in my accounting and college business math classes. I would recommend this product to anyone taking hard math classes that require graphing and complex problems.

There are probably better looking or nicer calculators out there, but this one does the job. I’m an Architect student and it’s helped me with everything. Simple and old school.

I purchased this item for my math class and not only was the item at a great price but I learned so much from it. The possibilities are endless with one of these.

This calculator did exactly what I needed it to for my class, no need to get the ti-84 because this one works for all the things needed for my course(Algebra 2 with trig).

If only I could have used one like this in 1977. not...

Bought this for my son who is majoring in civil engineering. Reliable, easy to use/learn, and is a must have. Great features and a solid product.

Has all the functions for a college algebra class and easy to navigate

This is an excellent graphing calculator and the only one that I would use. Teachers recommend this brand. I needed a graphing calculator for a College Math course and I don't believe any others compare to Texas Instruments graphing calculators. Further, I used one exactly like this when I was in high school and it worked great then, too. It does require learning how to use the functions if you have never used a graphing calculator, but it comes with a manual. (I don't usually read manuals so I can't say anything about that.) It's a great calculator and Best Buy was able to offer it quickly for me which was great because I needed it on the weekend I got it.

I sold my old one after I thought I was done with my education, but I was wrong, I needed it and I’m glad I found it on the discount area. Never again will I sell mine.

useful for graphing portion of SAAT. My grandson used it and scored well on the math portion. economical alternative to some more exoensive models.

This calculator is very reliable, easy to use and definitely good quality; it's the most durable calculator I have ever had. It can't get better than this. The TI-83+ has all the features you need, but avoid the extra nonsense you don't really need in the more advanced calculators. Some professors won't let you use more advanced calculators, so definitely check with them if you're considering a more advanced calculator. I use my TI-83+ in all my classes and it's reasonably priced compared to others. I strongly recommend this calculator for high school and collage. I am happy I made the right choice to purchase it.

These calculators are pretty standard and work well. Great for high school and college students.
