The BA II is easy to understand and use. It is consistently right in its calculations. It is not a bad deal for the price of $34.99. I borrowed a financial calculator from a friend who has an HP 10bII+. It was useless to me as I couldn't make any headway with it. I don't like having to read a whole instruction booklet before performing simple calculations like the TVM (time value of money). I fully recommend the TI (Texas Instruments) BA II Plus to those studying Finance or just needing a good financial calculator.

Required by the CFA institute when taking the CFA exam. Although the design looks much much more up-to-date than the HP 12C Financial Calculator (another calculator approved by CFA institute), the user interface still looks pretty old. The logic of operation for the calculator is pretty dull as well, but I guess people who purchase this calculator does not have a second option. One major disapproval from me is that it feels impossible to change a fresh battery. User not only needs to unscrew the back, but needs to tear the back cover apart as well, since its attached to the front. I did not do so because I am afraid that I might break it.

Its a very good calculator ot does all its supposed to do, i bought it for middle school daughter and she really enjoys it

If you’re looking for a scientific calculator this is not for you, BUT works great for simple math and my accounting class.

The college I attended states this is one of three "acceptable" calculators. I approve.

Great Financial Calculator; I didn’t think I would need to use one of these again, but I started working on my MBA, and I couldn’t remember the Time Value of Money calculations, and several others. So, I picked up this one, and if you’re looking for a financial calculator for school or work it’s great and easy to use.

I specifically got this calculator for an accounting and finance class. So far it has exceeded my expectations and is very simple to use. it also calculates Time Vale of Money which is helpful. It has a great price for being better than a four function calculator but cheaper than a graphing calculator.

My son had to have this for Finance class. Reminded me of the TI I had 30 years ago. Told him this would last him as long as he needed it. You learn the functions and it does everything you need for financial purposes. Great calculator.

this calculator is great for middle school students in Algebra and even for Calculus classes at the college level. Definitely a calculator that you will have for a long time. Totally worth the investment!

I got this for my accounting class as it was the calculator recommended by the instructor. Not much to say other than it is well built, functions as it should, and I haven't had any problems with it yet.
