  That Lonesome Song is a absolute classic country outlaw album. You can not deny that this album walks in the shadows of Waylon Jennings legacy. It even includes Waylon's "The Door is Alway Open' and 'Dreaming My Dreams.' Yet the album establishes exactly who Jamey Johnson is and the extreme talented group of players he keeps in his company. Calling themselves "The Kent Hardly Playboys", a name that couldn't be further from the truth. Also, you'll find on the vinyl, missing from the CD version, is Cowboy Eddie Long's 'Bee Sting Story'. Which has much more to do a with girl, then a pesky bee. Jamey and The Kent Hardly Playboys have created an album here that will hold a legacy of it's own.
