Loved this game! Challenging and fun, bit repetitive but that's not a knock on it. Gameplay and mechanics are enjoyable and the story is solid. Definitely a must for Square Enix and jrpg fans.

I really enjoyed this game. I am normally not good with Zelda games, but this gave me Zelda vibes with that Square Enix flare that I personally love so much. Currently trying to get my family to also play this game since the gameplay is so easy to pick up on. The story tries to rush you at times, but you can always choose to make your own path and play your way.

This game is the perfect blend of explorations and adventure. I reminds me of 2d Zelda games with a bit of the mana series added in. I absolutely love the HD-2D art style and I love seeing a different type of original title using it. I would highly recommend!

My only reason for 4 stars is this game isn’t long enough. The enemies are a bit repetitive. But the story is great. Really enjoyed this game.

In many ways, this game is like a Square Enix version of a 2D Zelda. But it has more equipment options, and a more full and detailed story. The time travel/era theme is compelling. The music and pixel art is gorgeous. The dungeons and bosses are unique and well thought out. I enjoyed it immensely, and the story struck an emotional chord with me that persists for several days. Be sure to keep playing to complete the True/Gold Ending. There are a few small negatives, the map structure tends to be the same across ages, which is a bit disappointing, and I did tire of going through some of the same locations (which did not change) repeatedly. I also tired of the dungeons after a time, but I find that happens for me in similar games. I suspect some of these issues were because this is the first game of this type produced by the developers (Team Asano), so they were still finding their footing a little bit and the repetition would also keep their dev cost a little lower. All in all, I definitely recommend the game, especially if you like 2D Zelda games and engrossing stories.

I would have never thought this game would be this good. I am pleasantly surprised and very happy. The 2D to 3D environments are truly remarkable and brings me back to the good old days where games were fun.

The first comparison is obviously Zelda, but it reminds me more of Alundra. Really good game and pretty as well.

Great game, alot of fun and very engaging. Game play is smooth , video is very crisp and colorful.

I love basically everything about this game expect for several characters and the story. The story just is not doing it for me.
