It's an entertaining movie. Perhaps a little more violence than would be appropriate for young children. The image quality and sound are excellent.

I didn't know very much about this movie when I bought it, but for $9.99 on sale from Best Buy, I had to get it. I enjoyed the movie's story and the characters. The only thing that could have liked more was the look of the movie. And what I mean by that is, that it has a young computer generated look, a look less sophisticated than I've see in other animation. But I will say that it still has it's charm about it. I think that if your looking for a good looking 3D movie, this will satisfy you. There is no doubt that your watching a well conceived 3D outing. You get the 3D disk, the 2D disk with includes over 90 minutes of special features, and DVD with the movie. And you have your choice of HD streaming or download from Itunes or Ultraviolet. I'm very happy that I found this, and I think that you would enjoy it as well.

The story seems good but the 3d movie stops playing when i get to the big boat part. The 3d looks nice though.

This is one of my all time favorite animated feature films. Even if you do not enjoy the animated genre I would still recommend you watch this movie! The story is epic and still waiting for a sequel! The 3D on this is amazing. I do not know why they are removing the 3D capability on TVs. They need to stop. Bottom line. If you are able to watch 3D movies. Buy this now! Even if you do not have a 3D TV/projector still buy this version so if in the future if you can you should!

The Adventures of Tintin is based on the Belgian cartoon strip of the same name, about a young journalist named Tintin and his dog Snowy who go on insane and riveting adventures. Here, they embark on a quest to uncover the secret of the mysterious and missing 17th Century ship, the Unicorn. This movie is wild, fun, stunning, heart-felt, and above all, a real adventure film that just happens to be animated. Buy it. Watch it. Repeat.

The Adventures of Tintin has excellent 3D enhancements and an interesting action-filled story with touches of Indiana Jones. Director Steven Spielberg's techniques of using real actors to provide the movement and voices blend really well when the CGI computer mixes are done. This takes us well beyond the old animation techniques used in older films. The 3D also adds to the sense of realism and makes for an overall enjoyable film.

This movie may have made some waves when it first released given its animation style and the famous names attached. I feel like it has fallen by the wayside and has been overlooked. Tin-Tin is truly a gem and the animation (motion capture) is breathtaking! Forget “The Incredibles 2”, I want an Adventures of Tin-Tin sequel or three.

The best 3D Motion Capture Film I've seen in a long time. And the 3D is AMAZING! One of the best 3D movies I have watched in this category. Do yourself a favor and buy the 3D version and a 3D TV or Projector and enjoy! Don't waste your time watching the 2D version of this. You'll regret it.

I bought this because my kids had been wanting to see it on our new big screen TV. The animation in HD on a big screen for this movie is *amazing*. And, on top of that - it's a great, clean, fun, family adventure movie for kids of all ages. You sadly don't find too many of those any more these days. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the computer animation and motion-capture techniques employed in this action-packed 3D film. It is a great addition to any 3D lover's collection. I highly recommend the film for its story, action, and extremely fine 3D effects. Bravo to Spielberg! It is a winner!

I’d never heard of this one but grabbed it on sale and it has probably been our favorite 3D night watch so far. Good fun for the family.

Came with slip cover. Great on my Vizio 3D TV. Must have for the 3D fans out there. A bummer that 3D TVs are very hard to find these days.

This story is interesting, and a lot like Pirates of Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Sherlock Holmes all rolled into one. Really good animated mystery movie. Cute dog, too
