Okay, the title might be oversimplifying these games a little. The only similarity they really share with Fire Emblem is the grid-based combat layout. The combat system itself is quite different. The story is great, art is beautiful, combat is satisfying. The cart itself includes parts of all the games, and the add'l download involved is 4.3GB. Therefore, the cart retains all resell value for all 3 games. Would be better if everything was on cart, BUT this is still better than including only one game on cart and everything else as download codes.

An excellent tactical strategy game that hits all the right marks you expect from the genre while managing to set itself apart from its contemporaries. Pros: Enjoyable story that sets very high stakes right from the outset that keep the player engaged and immersed. Battle System is quick to understand, but there is plenty to master. Due to a few key tweaks on the usual grid-based battle mechanics, Banner Saga's also feels very different. Every decision feels impactful and makes a meaningful difference in your future experience in the game. The game is gorgeous. Visually, it is stunning & the soundtrack is fantastic. It'd be a shame to play in handheld mode if it weren't so perfect as a mobile game. Cons: Currently no survival mode on the Switch version, however, devs are working on adding it. Controls on the controller can be a bit finicky sometimes. I rarely had to pull the Switch out of its dock and use touch controls when trying to position units.

This game is better then I thought it might be. High production value and deep gameplay. Really glad I picked this up as it's actually cheaper then all 3 on the eshop. The entire 3rd game is the dl here and you have to dl it to even load up the game. You will be looking at about 5 gigs or so to dl.

Bought this when it was one sale and I absolutely love the art style and the music. It is overall, a solid collection of games with a few flaws, including repetitive battles and maps.

Fun gameplay, good story, great character development. Somewhat boring in the beginning, controls take some time getting used to, but worth the play.

This is 3 games on 1 cartridge and has a long dl process. The price for me was justifiable with my gamers club still active (please bring back the gcu membership or some form if you don’t want to do the 20%). I’ve been itching for a Tactics game that wasn’t mercenaries or god wars until fire emblem comes out next year. And this does a good job

I'm new to the series and it is definitely a hardcore rpg game, however it is not d&d like. It has its owns set of rules but they are easily presented through the first battles in the form of quick live tutorials as for the graphics they are gorgeous hand-drawn with smooth animations and great music. This title is under-rated and should score higher in most teviews

This game is perfect for the switch. A great story, great gameplay and actual decision making that could lead to tons of paths in the story. If you even have a little interest in Strategy games, get this now.

I like Vikings in games because they are so cool. I have enjoyed many games with Vikings and this one is quite different in that is a turn based RPG. I am happy to see a turn based RPG because it gives you time to think out your strategy. It is a beautiful game to look at and the music is wonderful.

A tried and true series that is offered as a great all in one pack. Would have been nice to see all games on the cartridge but the download is parts of the 3rd game. Plays well on the Switch and a good strategy game as it is. Choices affect the storyline. For $20 on sale it was worth it!

This game is a good strategy game if your looking for such so if you like RTS this is one for the trying. And the graphics and portable nature of the Switch make a fine fit for gaming on the go.

The first banner saga is a pretty bare bones game but I think that adds to the charm. The tactics combat is really interesting and the story is fun to follow.

The beautiful hand-drawn graphics mesh very well with the Norse mythology and real-time strategy. This is a great collection for fans of strategy titles.

Art and play is good, story is easy to follow. Look forward to making my way further through this game in the future.

The art reminds me of the old Don Bluth style game art (Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace). The soundtrack is perfect, fits the tone and world perfectly. The game also has a little bit if the old choose your own adventure to it as well. Your choices have consequences and change how things play out. The value is great as well, all 3 games for $20. Definitely one of the best tactics style RPGs I have played in my life. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys these type of games.

Bought these 3 games in one package on sale. Well, it’s worthe the full price. The graphics are a piece of art and the stories are well told and presented.

Many hours of single player gameplay. I liked the turn based tactics as well as the story changing decision making.
