Brothers won't break. Not these brothers, at least - Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman, known collectively as The Cribs. After two decades and nine albums as one of Britain's best-loved bands, the Wakefield-born siblings have weathered enough storms to realise that an indestructible bond exists between them. That bond is at the heart of Selling A Vibe - their bold new album, produced by MGMT and Caroline Polachek collaborator Patrick Wimberley, and an unapologetic celebration of family. The last Cribs album, Night Network, looked to the world like a triumph, but separated by the pandemic, the brothers reflected on what their relationship had become. InchIn the beginning, we were brothers who had a band. And I think we realised we'd become a band that happened to be brothers,Inch says Ryan. The record features bittersweet anthems like InchDistractions,Inch the danceable InchSelf Respect,Inch and the hazardously catchy InchA Point Too Hard To Make.Inch Wimberley helped the group adopt contemporary pop recording techniques for the first time, pushing their sound in new directions. Selling A Vibe closes with InchBrothers Won't Break,Inch a song about being in a band with your brothers, and owning what that means. InchThere's something special about being in The Cribs with them,Inch says Gary. Album Tracks 1. Dark Luck 2. Selling a Vibe 3. A Point Too Hard to Make 4. Never the Same 5. Summer Seizures 6. Looking for the Wrong Guy 7. If Our Paths Never Crossed 8. Self-Respect 9. You'll Tell Me Anything 10. Rose Mist 11. Distractions 12. Brothers Won't Break

One of the best British rock bands to emerge in years, The Cribs make their major-tag debut with Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever. Produced by Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos, the album finds the fraternal Jarman trio twins Ryan and Gary, and kid brother Ross blasting out perfect pop songs with provocative punk power. The melodies are brash and memorable, the hooks undeniable, and the lyrics spiced with intelligence and a healthy cynicism. Capturing their famed onstage ferocity, Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever introduces The Cribs to America. Album Tracks 1. Our Bovine Public 2. Girls Like Mystery 3. Men's Needs 4. Moving Pictures 5. I'm a Realist 6. Major's Titling Victory 7. Women's Needs 8. I've Tried Everything 9. My Life Flashed Before My Eyes 10. Be Safe 11. Ancient History 12. Shoot the Poets
