Excellent storybook style take on classic JRPG's. Great for beginners or someone who just wants to relax with the old school style. I highly recommend this if you're trying to get your children into JRPGs. Everything about the game a story book. When you get to a new area it turns the page. When you get into a random encounter it flips many pages quickly and you end up on a new page. It's great. There's a ton of side quests that are pretty simple but what they add to the story makes them rewarding and compelling. You definitely want to do everything. However, I'm warning you here. There is a glitch that can lock you out of trophies. Make sure you save before completing any side quest and make sure they give you the collection points. Otherwise otherwise you might do something like save right after you complete the last side question realized that you're still missing 4 points. It would be nice if they patched it with an English voice over but the gentle female Japanese voice works totally fine. But it is extremely old school. If you don't like turn based, it's not for you. If you're going to cry about random encounters, it's not for you. Otherwise the story in art work is very rewarding for all ages.. The preorder story book edition is really cool. If they put a lot of love into the extras.
