If you’re someone with built-in issues about going to the dentist, The Dentist and The Dentist 2 aren’t going to do you any favors. Brian Yuzna has always had a flair for bloody body horror mixed with sadistically hilarious dark comedy. His two trips to the horrors of oral hygiene are great examples of the gooey auteur’s flair for the material. Where there's a drill, there's a way. Corbin Bernsen stars as homicidal dentist Dr. Alan Feinstone in these two horror favorites, available for the first time on Blu-ray. In The Dentist, Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Feinstone seems to have the perfect, ordered life — until the discovery of his wife's affair with the pool boy sends him off the deep end, unlocking the killer inside.

If you're a fan of these late-night cable B films from the 90's I highly recommend getting this set. The transfers for both films look good, part 2 fares a bit better in the overall detail department but part 1 still looks very good. The audio on both discs is very good as well, no issues there. The special features are plentiful and very in depth to how these films got made in the first place, I recommend listening to Brian Yuzna's commentaries. All and all pretty good, for film collector's only.

WOW, just wow!!! These are just WILD films. Not for the faint of heart and DEFINITELY don't watch if you are heading to a dentist appointment the next day! The special effects were great and the story lines were both hilarious and frightening. Goes to show...it doesn't pay to be a pool boy, too!

Vestron delivers the goods. Both films in 1 package with an awesome slip at this price? At $6 per film, just get it. Prices like these are what guarantees day 1 pickups and ALOT of other film distributors should take notes.

if you're afraid of dentists or dental offices ,skip this over-the-top horror movie....keep the volume low during the patient's visit to the "doctor"...Corbin Bernsen has left his L.A. Law character far ,far, away !!

Good bad movies are a guilty pleasure and this double feature doesn't disappoint. Corbin Bernson is fantastic and there are plenty of memorable lines. Lots of fun kills and excellent direction. Check it out!

Very good and scary movie A real Classic with Great Story and great ensemble of actors this movie will make have nightmares

Very Interesting In A Macabre Way. Totally Enjoyable And Relatable Storyline. Have Watched Both Numerous Times, And Enjoyed So Much That I'm Not Even Done Yet.Cast And As I Said Storyline Were Excellent.

Great movies never had the dentist 2 in my collection and wanted to see the features so it was great to have it, and upgrade from my dvd copy of the first

These movies are straight up weird but in a good way. I'm used to blood and gore but there's just something about teeth mutilation.

Great value for some really good bad movies. Dentists already scare everyone so why not make a horror movie out of it.

if you remember this cable classic then this is the best version of this title you could buy and you get the sequel
