![John Denver - Ultimate Collection - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/c069cd23-8531-40ec-83b3-946a6d8d4f87.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
2011 collection from the late Folk/Pop superstar. This collection features all his great hits and ends with Denver's biggest songwriting success, 'Leaving on a Jet Plane', which now seems inseparable from Peter, Paul & Mary. But to hear Denver sing it, it's not a sunny, hopeful radio single. There's a real weight in his voice, as if he genuinely doesn't Inchknow when I'll be back again,Inch and the thought of being separated from his love is terrible and crushing. John Denver's got a way of feeling everything that seems almost alien in the cold environs of the 21st century, and - unabashedly earnest and easy listening as it is - the Ultimate Collection is a fine reminder of a gentle voice from another time and place. Includes 'Annie's Song', 'Rocky Mountain High', 'Take Me Home, Country Roads', 'My Sweet Lady' and many more. Sony. Album Tracks 1. Annie's Song 2. Take Me Home, Country Roads 3. Rocky Mountain High 4. Sunshine on My Shoulders 5. Back Home Again 6. Thank God I'm a Country Boy 7. Like a Sad Song 8. Sweet Surrender 9. My Sweet Lady 10. Calypso 11. Fly Away 12. This Old Guitar 13. I'm Sorry 14. The Cowboy & the Lady 15. Mr. Bojangles 16. Some Days Are Diamonds (Some Days Are Stone) 17. Perhaps Love 18. Follow Me 19. Leaving on a Jet Plane
