I had been searching for this, and used copies online were hard to find and costly. This DVD is what I remember about the Walton's movie that used to play on TV each Christmas. You will have to adjust the aspect ratio on your TV, if you want to see the original screen elements. It plays in full screen.

I love this classic Christmas story about the Walton family. I purchased the DVD since it cannot always be found online or regular tv.

One greatest movie show of The Waltons way back 1972. Still my favorite movie show. Stuff don't see onto tv or cable. Wish made on blueray still wait one greatest movie .

the Waltons reminds me of the way I grew up and just how special Christmas is.

This was a great movie. I remember watching the Waltons when I grew up.

Growing up in the 70's one of the favorite tv shows in our family was the Waltons. This movie was the catalyst for the show. Some of the characters are not the ones that starred in the show (grandpa, mom and dad Walton, Ike Godsey, etc) but the story is a good one, nonetheless,based on a real families struggles during one Christmas during the Depression. Many solid family values are represented. It is a reminder of how many families used to live, where love and respect were the rule instead of the exception.
