Okay remake
The game is okay. It’s best played with the aim controller. The move controller and DualShock 4 are terrible with it. You’re going to get annoyed hearing the word “reload”

Glad to be able to play again
If you like the original The House of the Dead, this is the first game that came to arcades and the Sega Saturn. The most disapointing thing about this game is you can use the six axis controls for motion sensor, but for the move controllers and or the Joycons, it is not very accurate. The DualShock 4 and DualSense do well with it, but that is still the regular controller. It ends up being best to play with just the analog stick instead. If you remember the original game, it is n9t very long, but the point was always to survive and aim for a high score. As well as going down the branching pathways. The graphics are a massive improvement to this version in comparison to the original. It also has a mode with a massive number of zombies that appear on screen versus the standard enemy numbers. If you love rail shooters, this is a great a return to the series. The House of the Dead 2 is also getting a remake as well. This one came first and is quite exciting.

Classic Fun
I think the game is fun, and the graphics are fine for a game based on a cheesy arcade classic. If you are a fan of the franchise, you may as well pick up the good edition while its still cheap and available.
