Amazing game with great gameplay. Bought for my kid who can’t put it down!

Games is absolutely phenomenal! With the Switch 2 upgrade it completely changes the game and playing it handheld is very nice.

Thats excelent product! History 10/10 Grafics 9/10

I love this zelda, i recommend for everyone who like adventure games

I first played the game on the Nintendo Switch when it came out in 2023. This version of the game, with the upgrades, makes it SO much better. I collect physical, but if you have the game already for the Nintendo Switch, you can buy the upgrade pack which upgrades it digitally. Otherwise, this version is also compatible with the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 - the cart works in both systems. You just won’t get the upgrades if playing on the original Nintendo Switch. Getting to the game, while it expands on much of the original game’s controls and feels like a much needed improvement, I still stand by my original thoughts in that it feels like it should have been DLC. That shouldn’t deter anyone who hasn’t played it, as you can easily sink 100s of hours into this game.

Tears of the Kingdom does a great job adding features to an already amazing game. An amazing successor to Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom plays like breath of the wild with even more fun gameplay tricks. You lose the old Sheikah slate powers however you do get fun Zonai abilities in their place. The Ultrahand ability is a direct upgrade from the Magnesis and Recall is closer to a sidegrade to stasis but lets you do some fun things. Fusing is probably the most integral new ability letting you build pretty much anything you can imagine. There are lots of videos online of people building giant robots, cars, planes, helicopters, and whatever else you can think of. The game also does a good job of transferring your breath of the wild save data to help immerse yourself into the game. It tracks your stabled horses and gives you a picture of the champions from your Hateno house. Another game with LOTS of content to playthrough and the best part is you can interact an engage with as much or as little as you would like. Lots of hidden things to discover and lots of fun puzzles to solve with lots of different ways to solve them depending on your play style. Overall it's a must have if you own a Switch 2 and like Zelda, open world games or action adventure.

4K HDR and 60 fps is incredible. But of course, gameplay is king. I wasn't a fan of BOTW and held out on this one. Glad I did so I could get the Switch 2 version but I had no idea what I was missing! Incredible game! Morphs in more of classic Zelda while maintaining the new BOTW formula.

The game has excellent performance and a good frame rate.

I've been out of the Zelda scene for quite a while. I haven't played since OG Ocarina of Time. Majoras Mask put me off. However; I recently bought the Switch 2 kind of 'on a whim'. I love every second of it. I decided I wanted to get back into Zelda, and TOTK had the appeal necessary. Tears Of The Kingdom is HUGE. I'm like 90 hours in, and not even really 50% total completion. I've uncovered the map, resolved all phenomena, but haven't uncovered 1/4 of the Underworld, all 4 Fairies, have done 30% of the shrines, only have 10 hearts and 2 1/4 stamina bars.. The scenery is beautiful. Open world game play is the only way for me. That's why I don't play Destiny anymore. This is a must buy in my opinion.

I've not played Zelda in a WHILE, but this game is really fun and has a great story to it. I will say as an old soul the mechanics took me a bit to get used to, and also some of the puzzles of what to do are a fun challenge.

Played it on switch 2, ran like a dream. TOTK is definitely a wonderful game in the aspect that it's still following the tried and true format that BOTW did, despite glaring plotholes and retconned details, it's still extremely fun if you played BOTW and just wanted more open world, unfortunately, it is just that, more open world, more hyrule, nothing really new or novel in a meaningful capacity, most of the new mechanics feel like a sidegrade rather than an upgrade, the lore editions feel vapid and disorganized like they put new people on the worldbuilding who had no connection to prior entries, and it feels far, FAR removed from any sort of original zelda titles, and not in a good way. that SAID, it is STILL a sequel to breath of the wild, just an 8/10 sequel to a 9/10 original, and the downsides are RELATIVE to that 9/10 original, it's still a good game that I recommend buying, just don't expect it to live up to Breath of The Wild's experience.

I got this game after finishing Breath of the Wild and loving it. My objective reviewer mind will report that it is beautifully designed and a great experience for what it sets out to do. It continues Breath of the Wild while feeling like its own distinct game. My personal preference review is, I like it less than Breath of the Wild because I'm just not into the building component. You're going to spend a lot time assembling and engineering machines and then worrying about batteries for those machines. The right person will love this new mechanic. As someone not into well... being a mechanic, I got a bit bored. Would you pick a game where you create your own motorcycle with foraged parts? Your answer will guide your experience of the game.

If you’re a fan of the franchise, definitely get it. If not then dont bother. Its a fun game especially if yiu played the first so this feels more like an extension or DLC.

This is the same game that released on the original switch. I had given the original TOTK game cartridge away, and decided to purchase a brand new copy for the Switch 2. The game runs at steadier, smoother frame rates with improved graphics on the Switch 2 hardware. The loading times in game between travel points has also gotten much faster. For me, the game was worth the repurchase on the newer console.

Excellent game, displayed in 4k, many hours of exploration and fun

Easily one of the best switch games out still and one of the best zelda games on the platform.

I missed this game on the original switch and I’m glad I did. Now I get to experience the game in better resolution and smoother frames.

This is clearly the best way to play one of the best games of the last decade. While nothing can ever replace that first time through Breath of the Wild. Tears of the Kingdom expands on the first game with different mechanics that alter your approach. The Switch 2 upgrades, especially the smoother frame rate, make this the version to get.

This game is totally challenging gorgeous frustrating and relaxing all at the same time. A must for any open world fan.

This is quite literally the best game I have ever played, recommended to anyone who loves fun combat, open world adventure, and classic Zelda gameplay.
