This made me come back and try to finish the game. The graphics look a lot better and run smoother on my TV, and handheld mode is a lot more fun. The app is helpful to find any shrines I missed.

Amazing game I love every bit of it and so much to do after beating the main story

[Employee of bestbuy] Loved it! $10 is very much worth the updated graphics and higher frame rate. Replaying this game just because of how good it looks and how much better it runs on switch 2. Short load times too! Worth it! Just do it!

The Switch 2 upgrade for The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is completely game changing. The improved switch 2 graphics and system strength makes playing this game noticeably better. It was already good to begin with, but now that I can see my boy Link in 60fps I can never go back.

Amazing! I didn’t think it would be possible to make this game better, but I was WRONG! Amazing graphics, amazing game play amazing game!!!

The upgrade is worth it for a solid 60 fps, higher resolution, and faster load times. If you can find cheap physical copies of the game, then the switch 2 upgrade is a great deal.

A massive improvent compared to the nintendo switch version. Resolution has been improved, but the big deal is the 60 FPS. Although it sounds like a small improvment, it changes up the experience BY A LOT. The only thing I didn't like is how you need the nintendo app to get the notes feature, it feels like something that could have easily been included within the game.

This is an upgrade code ($10) for the Breath of the Wild. The receipt you get from Best Buy (electronic or physical paper receipt) has the code you can enter into your Switch 2 to get the upgrade. Seamless and fast process, almost like buying directly from Nintendo. If you buy from Best Buy the only extra is the extra cardboard board cutout.

Higher framerates feel smooth. It feels like a different game. Also, the higher resolutions on the switch 2 prompt me to use the purah pad less to look at distant objects

Woah - frame rate is stable, there are more details everywhere, and the game just plays better. Really solid upgrade that I'd rather own then rent.

I played this on the original Switch. I loved it there. I got the upgrade because I wanted to replay it and thought, what the heck, let's get the latest and greatest. I was BLOWN AWAY. Just the HDR alone is worth the upgrade, not to mention higher res textures and *incredibly* fast loading times. Super fun to replay. Highly recommend.

I am blown away by how the game is modified and plays on the switch 2!

I got the Switch2 specifically to play the Zelda games, so it was a must to have the upgrade packs lol. The software loading and graphics are beyond expectations and I'm really having a good time playing it now.

4k, 120hps, HDR. Need I say more? This unlocks a completely new experience of the game and is it something amazing. If you plan on replaying this game on the switch 2 or play it for the first time ever, THIS IS A MUST!!

I didn't think it would make much a difference from the original version but I can totally tell it looks better now and seems to play better as well. It's only $10 so if you have Tears and a S2, you might as well do it.

Makes the game run very smoothly and look gorgeous. Absolutely recommend playing this game on Switch 2 with this upgrade pack!

I feel like this upgrade pack is an essential buy if you already own zelda tears of the kingdom on switch 1. The graphic enhancment and new use of the zelda notes feature is a game changer. Highly recommend purchasing this upgrade pack

Is it lame that nintendo is charging $10 for this? Yes. However, the game runs at 60 fps without breaking a sweat, and it's how the game should be played. I bought TOTK for switch 1 but didn't play beyond the first few quests.
