Game of the year right here. The memes on tiktok made me want to buy it and it was worth it. I love the story and love the building and other mechanics of the game. This is the first Zelda game I have played all the way and I loved every second of it.

Can’t stop playing it. It’s like getting 3 game for the price of one. Between the quests, side quests, map size and just being able to roam around. Highly recommend

I played breath of the wild a LOT when i first got the game. I was almost hesitant about this game since ila large chunk of the game is the the same environment. But this game is so much more fun and less of a chore!!!! I cant stop playing! Im 35, NOT a huge zelda fan and i hadnt play any since the minish cap. Youll be addicted to the new abilities in this game and how much more fun it is to travel. Theres even MORE to do! I absolutely love it!!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an outstanding addition to the iconic series. This open-world adventure seamlessly combines classic Zelda elements with modern innovation. It's a visually stunning and emotionally resonant journey through the vast and lively world of Hyrule. With its fluid combat, epic boss battles, and a narrative that pays homage to the series' legacy, Zelda TOTK is a masterpiece that both long-time fans and newcomers will cherish. It sets a new standard for open-world gaming and is a must-play experience that will leave a lasting impression.

If breath of the wild was the best game of last decade, this is the game of this decade.

I’d give Tears of the Kingdom a 9/10. As a lifelong Zelda fan, I’ve already sunk hundreds of hours into this version of Hyrule and can easily see myself spending hundreds more. While Breath of the Wild impressed me with its freedom and open-world innovation, it never fully felt like “classic Zelda” to me—those iconic dungeon-driven challenges and sense of discovery were missing. Tears of the Kingdom fixes that by weaving more traditional Zelda structure and atmosphere back into the same sandbox, and the result is a world that feels richer, darker, and far more rewarding to explore. The new systems are the real magic: inventive building tools, a huge variety of caves and secrets, and additional layers to exploration that constantly surprise you with clever rewards and challenges. The abilities encourage experimentation in a way that makes the world feel more interactive than ever, while the NPCs, music, dungeon variety, and bosses all feel notably improved over its predecessor. My one big gripe is that the sky-focused content can feel repetitive and less fleshed out than it was advertised, but it’s a relatively small blemish on what’s easily become one of my favorite Zelda adventures.

This is what a sequel should be. They took BOTW and took it to 100!. New systems that build on what was already there and addressed some grievances of the previous game. Story in my opinion is such a beautiful story and very emotional. Cell shaded graphics that was brought back and is a great artistic style that adds to the games character. New NPC's add a breath of fresh air with new side quest's,while bringing back loved characters. All in all this is a game I can recommend to anyone that loves open world games and great story.

If you love BoTW, you’re going to love this game. It feels exactly like BoTW but just with some different mechanics. The things that you can create in this game are just absurd sometimes. Leads to a great time of creativity and funny moments. Story is sick as well!!!

Tears of the Kingdom is excellent with a lot of to offer and awards that speak for themselves. It's a beautiful game world to explore. It was an easy purchase to get the game code and then upgrade it to the Switch 2 edition. Highly recommended doing that for the best experience!

If you loved Breath of the Wild, then this game is a no brainer. This is essentially the same game as its predecessor, but it does everything better in my honest opinion. It addresses a lot of the issues people had with weapon durability, fps stability, story, characters, boss dungeons, and the finale. Tears of the Kingdom is pretty much what Breath of the Wild should have been in the first place and it's glorious. I wouldn't be surprised if this game wins Game of the Year for many video game award shows.

Goty contender for this year. Very much a sequal to breath of the wild, so the game will feel very familiar. Despite botw being an amazing game at release, this sequal makes its predesesor seem like an unfinished product with how perfectly they added to this game. Some performance problems, but nothing that detracts too much from the experence. Frame dips and studders that are worth dealing with to experience this game.

Haven't finished JUST yet, but I'm very close to, and this may honestly be one of my personal favorite games of all time. Wasn't too big of a fan of the more brittle weapons at first, but finding items to fuse onto them is very fun, and I don't think I've ever had more fun with a game than building random contraptions.
The legend of Zelda, tears of the kingdom, plays beautifully on my switch OLED. The sheer size of this open world is staggering. I’m in my late 40s with a with a young son and limited time to play it, and so I hope to be able to finish this game by the time I retire.
