Fun for a few hours of a discount game

This game was fun but gets very monotonous. Fun for the first couple hours but once you get down the pattern it’s boring

The Mummy Demastered is decent, but not spectacular. You either explore everything and completely decimate bosses or don't explore and spend a long time taking them down.

It's a good metroidvania

If you like metroidvanias like metroid fusion then you'll probably like this. It's not perfect, but I enjoyed it enough to 100% it and that's rare for me.
