This film was a very pleasant surprise. I went into this knowing nothing about the movie other than Elizabeth Moss of Mad Men fame. I knew she had acting chops and decided to give this film a try. This was shot on a minuscule budget, and in this case, I think the constraints produced a great film because they had to be extra creative to make this. The film starts off as typical couples' therapy sessions montage. It is quickly ascertained that the husband had been unfaithful during their relationship. Their therapist decides to send them on a retreat when no progress is being made. Again, it seems to be the normal fare but then things start to get wierd. This is not a comedy, although there are definitely comedic moments, but it kind of reminds me of a supernatural, unexplained Groundhog Day type of element that plays out here. I don't want to go into to much detail because I feel it would spoil things.

This movie blew me away. So refreshing, and stayed with me for days. The questions it raises are quite profound, and the way in which the film presents them is both terrifying and touching. The film also does not shy away from humor when it is naturally there, and the whole film has a way of making you buy into its main twist of reality without even second guessing it. Acting is solid all around and the direction/cinematography/editing and music all add up to make this my favorite film of the year. Bluray technical aspects are wonderful as well.

A fantastic movie with a plot you don't see coming. It's like a romantic comedy and a twilight zone episode had a baby. If you're a fan of Mark Duplass I would recommend watching this movie.

This movie takes an age old tale about people falling out of love and adds a weird twist. It's a good movie, but I wouldn't want to watch it again.

Really intriguing. Seems quite standard until it gets deeper into the narrative. Definitely didn't go where I thought it would--thought provoking.

Interesting movie and you really can not say much about it because it would ruin the movie. Worth watching at least once.

Definitely fits into the mumblecore sub genre. Has enough twists to be considered a stand out for 2014.

Mark and Jay Duplass are mining scripts that truly entertain. Plus, Mark is an exceptional actor. Saw the movie in the theaters and decided it is a "must own" for my film collection.

Excellent movie with a great cast (comprised of just three people). Very interesting take on a romantic comedy.

Great actors make this unusual story worth every penny. Not a cookie cutter movie - but definitely intriguing.

A different twist on an indie movie. The less you know about this title the better...approach it blind!

Its tough to carry any movie when there are only two actors. Was well done for the most part but not so captivating to keep me drawn in.
