Emerging from the restless creativity of New York City's late-1970s music scene, 'The Now' stood as a fleeting but unforgettable blip on the New Wave radar. Here is a band that burned brightly-playing the gritty Max's Kansas City circuit-before fading almost as quickly as it arrived. Comprised of Jeff Lennon (Geoff InchLipInch Danielik), Mamie Francis, Robin Dee, and Bobby Ore (Bobby Orefiece), 'The Now' was as eclectic as the city they hailed from, blending power pop, retro '60s vibes, punk energy, and even a splash of Jamaican rhythms into a single electric package. This album is the quintessential New Wave time capsule-vivid, fun, and surprisingly ahead of it's time. Album Tracks 1. Can You Fix Me Up with Her 2. He's Takin' You to the Movies 3. T.V. Private Eye 4. You Are the One 5. Reaction 6. What's Her Name 7. I Wanna Go Steady with You 8. Baby I'm Bad 9. Flex Your Muscles 10. Christine
