One of my all time favorite movies from when I was a kid! Loved the quality. I couldn’t pass it up for only $5!

This was a cute animated movie with lots of stars voices playing in it. Well worth seeing for the young and young at heart!

I was surprised by this movie when it first came out and had it on vhs. A boy who is scared of practically everything-he reminded me of an insurance actuary. One day he’s riding his bike and rain breaks out. He seeks shelter in a library. He slips on some water and the movie turns animated. Oh the adventures he has with three books horror, fantasy, and adventure. It’s fabulous. Just thinking about it makes me want to watch it again.

I haven't seen this movie since the mid 1990s. When I pulled this movie out from storage, my grand nephews and nieces ask me what I was holding. I had to explain to them it was a VHS tape. Instead of explaining, I just went to Best Buy and purchased a Blu-ray. Still a good movie. It opens up a child's imagination with adventures and fantasies. Blu-ray did a great job re-mastering with vivid colors and picture.

Whenni found this lying in a pile with a hunch if other movies, I just knew I had to get it. From the opening credits to the final scene, I was moved. My eyes barely stayed dry from all the emotions if rewatching my favorite childhood film. Still great now as it was when I first watched it!

Great kids movie. Your typical scardy cat runs into what turns out to be a library for shelter during a storm. The librarian tries to distract the child with books, but the kid just wants to get home. After a small accident, the child finds himself in a magical works of literary creatures. In the end he overcomes his trivial fears of things like lightning, etc.

I haven't seen this movie in at least 10 years if not longer. I used to watch every chance I had as a kid when I was with my grandparents on my dad's side. I just stumbled upon it when browsing the shelves in one of my recent visits and it was sticking out and I knew I needed to bring it home that day this movie is great for anyone who loves a good story

Great family movie! Kids and adults will enjoy this show! It will keep you on the edge of your seat. Funny, interesting, exciting all wrapped up in this movie! Get the popcorn, candy, and pop, turn out the lights and enjoy the show!!

It is tragic that not everyone had the pleasure of being a kid when this movie was released. It has everything from action, adventure, horror, and a happy ending. I cannot recommend this enough if you grew up in the 90's or have kids.

If you’re looking for a movie with a little knowledge and is different from the standard kids movie, then this is it. I remember watching this growing up and it never got old. Worth the buy.

The best movie 1994 had to offer. Such a classic for me. I loved it as a child. And I’m so glad it’s been faithfully restored on blu Ray. Can’t recommend this enough!

This movie was recommended to me and I found it at Best Buy! Not only that, but it was on sale!! I have yet to watch it, but I know that it'll be a great movie.

Wife got this because it was a "childhood classic," however, I had never heard of it. Great kids movie, definitely not the magical reminiscing time she thought it would be, but hey, it was the 90's.

My kids and Kids Kids LOVED this movie. They've all watched Home Alone series over and over but this movie was different for them. They really loved it

What a beautiful movie this was , I really enjoyed watching it with my Grandson , I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

A fun movie within the mind of a paranoid child. This boy falls into a make believe world of his own making and comes back with a new outlook on life.

Bought this out of the 5.99 bin for the kiddos. Can't be that price to revisit a childhood classic with the kids.

Enjoyed this movie a ton as a kid. Now an adult I love sharing movies from my childhood (like this one) with my own kids.

The film is good story. And the actors who are in the film are good. It's a great fun movie for family and friends.
