The Phenom was a pretty good movie. It's about a highly recruited baseball star that gets a case of the "yips" after making to the "big show," and starting the psychological process to get him over it.

being a sucker for almost any baseball film, this fit the bill, with great performances, picture quality is great and sound quality equally great.. a must for the baseball flick fan!

Nice movie not to hard to follow. Wish someone would make more baseball movies. Great price thanks Best Buy.

Great movie, refreshing and thought provoking. I really enjoyed Paul Giamatti's character and how he engages the fallen superstar. In some ways, many people can relate to the themes in the movie - the idea of attempting to overcome inner demons, adjusting to a lifestyle with extreme stressors, etc.

I love baseball as I have played it for most of my life and I especially love the movies dealing with this national pastime so when I heard about this movie before it was released I knew that I had to buy it and check it out. I was very disappointed because there is way too much talking and almost nothing about the game itself. The acting didn't impress me either. I think you can slip this one.

I was excited to watch this movie, because I am a huge fan of both Ethan Hawke and Paul Giamatti, but this movie just didn't do it for me. It is very slow and boring at times. I will say this though. There were some scenes that were shot and directed very well and had some interesting takes.
