Seeing this film in 4k is stunning. You don't want to watch films in any other format after seeing this. If you have seen this film, you're going to like it even more in 4K.

I have always enjoyed this movie and when I saw it on Bluray at a good price I had to include it in my collection. The movie shows you how the Roman officer in charge of the crucifixion of Christ actually became a believer and is converted to Christianity while rejecting Cesar

though, did not know what to expect from watching this. I thought I was going to be seeing Christ throughout the movie, but they barely showed him. It has to do with the Roman Tribune that won the robe of Christ through a dice game. He was never the same afterwards and had a nervous breakdown of some sort, but did find the truth about the robe of Christ and became a believer.

One of the best Biblical movies of all-time. Beautiful color presentation with superb acting. First movie filmed in CinemaScope. Richard Burton at his best. Two thumbs up!

Used to watch this movie in high school in the 60's at the Latin banquet. Forgot how good it was. Interesting that it is the first movie released in CinemaScope.

I was amazed that the Centurion was so bewildered by a piece of hand spun fabric. The guilt he felt and endured was of his own making. Forgiving himself released him.

It was amusing the second time around and was really a convening portrayal of a warrior who found Faith in man whom lead him spiritually to support Christianity.

Our family has always enjoyed this movie and are enjoying the Blu Ray quality. I recommend this movie for the family especially during the Easter season.

I have been converting all of my favorite DVD show collection into blu-rays when available. The Robe was a must.

Although I am very familiar in a sense with the movie, I'm not certain I've ever seen it. Looking forward to it.

Wonderful story about the life of Jesus, especially over the Easter holidays

The Robe is one of the greatest epic movies produced in Hollywood in the 50's. Created before the age of computer generated special effects, it is amazing to view these large-scale epic movies. Produced in CinemaScope.

If you are looking for a historical fiction movie about Easter this is worth purchasing.
