This film has a great premise and is a wonderful ghost story. The third act is where is gets a little... different. It ended and I sat wondering what just happened. I was entertained but the ending will definitely divide audiences. If you’re familiar with the book it will make more sense.

If you don't watch it from beginning to the end you might miss something and get lost. Overall it was a good movie. Kind of a weird ending for me but I like it.

It was creepy and scary moments but the end it's like it's starts in the middle of a story and ends in the middle it didn't make sense

Brought it on Black Friday sale, can’t beat the price. Great horror movie. Story was okay but the kids were awesome.

Going to be honest this movie has been redone to death... but it was cheap and came with a digital copy. The movie really didn't stand put above the earlier remakes at all*shrug* wish Hollywood would find some new material.

I did not know this was based on a book so it was pretty spot on to that. Without knowing that, the movie didn’t seem to make much sense. Then you find out it’s not supposed to.

My daughter had to have this because her favorite stranger things character is in it and we really enjoyed watching it together. No disappointment here.
