With the exception of the rock opera Quadrophenia, this is the Who's best album. You may as well just call it a greatest hits collection. Make sure your volume is crank high before the needle drops. Also, this is a nice remaster. The 180g vinyl sound fills the room.

Be sure you order sku#21570748 when ordering this vinyl. THIS is the 180 gram, 2012 reissue and the sound/mix are superb! The 2015? version is very dull and muddy. Get this album in your collection if you are a classic rock fan. Hit after hit when they were truly in their prime.

Genius Pete's intro of the moog synthesizer, making The Who sound more electric than they already were. Beginning with Baba I knew this was going to be great with the ending of rock anthem that sums up the turbulent 60's in America - yeahhhhh!- eat your heart out Bob Dylan!

I’m plenty familiar with this album, it’s worth hearing in any format. This MOV pressing has a very full, dynamic sound. Maybe a first pressing sounds better, but good luck finding a new one. This is prob the best available.

This happens to be the Jon Astley remix from 1995. To me, this is best reissue so far. Maybe even better than the original Glyn Johns mix from '71
