What a grt movie not just for women but men too!! True story that was needed to be told & done SO WELL :)$. PERFECT

BLACK WOMAN IN AFRICA, BEFORE THE 20 CENTURY, WERE SEEN AS A SYMBOL TO THE MOTHER AND FATHER OF RESPECT IF THEY COULD MARRY THEM OFF TO A MAN OF THEIR CHOOSING. AND THE WOMAN COULD BARE MANY CHILDREN TO THIS MAN, THEY MARRY. SOME OF THESE DAUGHTERS, DID NOT WANT TO BE MARRIED OFF, TO SOME OF THESE OLD AND UNDESIRABLE MEN. THEN THE FATHERS WOULD TAKE THESE WOMEN, THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND A HUSBAND FOR, TO THE KING. THE KING HAD ALREADY FORMED HIS OWN ARMY OF ELITE WOMEN. BECAUSE OF THIS VERY LOYAL WOMAN. THEN, THEY WOULD TRAIN THESE WOMEN TO FIGHT. LATER THE KING FIGHTERS WOULD TEST, THESE NEW WOMEN. ONLY AFTER YOU PAST THESE TEST, COULD YOU BE A SOLDIERS, FOR THE KING ARMY. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT HONOR. YES! THESE WOMAN WOULD BE PAID. BUT YOU COULD NEVER MARRY OR HAVE CHILDREN. NOW, BEGINS THE MOVIE. I REALLY LIKED THIS MOVIE. LOTS OF ACTION AND FIGHTING. AND SO MUCH MORE. KUDOS TO THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES IN THIS MOVIE. BRAVO TO THE DIRECTOR OF THIS MOVIE AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED BRING THIS MOVIE TO THE SCREEN. PEACE!

This movie is a true inspiration of courage, strength, survival and love. I highly recommend this movie and felt it should have been promoted more; but I hope my review will help people to purchase this movie and add it to their collection. It’s worth the investment.

Totally enjoyed this movie . I am just speechless and so inspired by this movie based on actual true events. Viola Davis is one of my favorite female Actresses I’ve see and enjoyed in other movies she has appeared in.
