Excellent game thats cute enough for the kids but complex enough for adults. Enjoyed the story mode and will definitely pick up the DLC as its released.

Cartoony visuals with depth. How can you not want to play a fighting game with characters who remind you of My Little Pony.

Cartoon like charcters with quick combos and assists. Very fluid gameplay for a nice pick up and play a few matches.

I enjoy fighting games of all types, so this one was on my radar for a while. So glad it made its way to the Switch. Now the game doesn't have a ton of characters but what are here, are pretty unique. Has a nice art style, good character designs and pretty solid fighting mechanics. Not bad for something that started out as a fan game featuring certain well known pony characters.

It's a fun little 1v1 fighting game. The story mode is fun, just be prepared that it's mostly pictures and text (i.e., no ornate animations here). The characters are all charming, and the fighting system is engaging if occasionally challenging to master.

Originally a concept for a My Little Pony fighting game, Them's Fightin' Herds stands on its own as a parody of that property. It's a competent 2D fighter that shouldn't be overlooked due to its theme. Sadly, future expansions to the story mode and fighter roster have been shelved due to developer issues. As such, a lot of elements of the game feel unfinished. That's a shame, because the art and sound design here is memorable. There's only 10 or so characters, but it's still worth a look if you're into indie fighters such as Skull Girls.

My son enjoys this game that has been added to his collection.

This is a unique fighting game. Interesting concept. Not going to be for everyone. If you can get this on sale, may well be worth it.

The difficulty is ridiculous. Also any ‘adventure mode’ side scrolling sections are TOTAL crap with up on the stick as a jump button

Really great fighter. Bought it for Steam and couldn't wait for it to come to consoles. Hoping this one makes it to the big stage of Evo.

As someone who backed this game when it was in development, I can say for sure that the developers have done a great job working with what they got. The game may have its flaws at the start, but that doesn't mean you cannot improve. Gameplay wise it's actually pretty neat. I like the characters, I like their fighting styles I haven't tried the pixel lobby, yet or online fight but that's because my problems with connectivity. I would recommend this game if you have a kid and you don't want to buy a game that is gory like Mortal Kombat or any other fighting game that you don't approve, and even though the roster is a small at the moment they are more characters in coming.

Game is fun to mess around with, but nearly impossible to get the hang of for casual fighting game fans like myself. This is the sort of game for people who obsess over things like exact frame data or pixel perfect hitboxes. Dont let the cute exterior fool you, this is a game that will not hesitate to destroy you.
