My wife loves this and would give it 5 stars. It does work very well, and the massage feature is very relaxing. However, we a man with a thick beard, it makes it a bit harder to breathe. The beard will capture your breath and the humidity. For anyone without a beard, 5/5. For anyone with a beard, if youre not claustrophobic, you’ll likely be fine. If you’re both claustrophobic and have a big beard, I would not get this and get one with ventilation.

I love this mask! The biggest difference I have noticed is much improved skin texture, elasticity, and plumpness. I am 58, post menopausal, and began to notice sagging and dull skin. I have never done Botox and I have done filler once 8 years ago. I had been looking for great skincare products and researched red light infrared masks. After reading reviews and this being one of the few FDA approved red light masks on the market, I decided on the Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo. I have been using this mask daily for 20 weeks. There has been a significant improvement and I am asked all the time if I had any “work” done. I haven’t. This is probably the biggest compliment, that friends and family are noticing the changes. I feel so much better about myself. Aging well is my biggest goal, so this was exactly the right choice for me. It’s very easy to use. I worked it into my morning schedule easily so it doesn’t add any additional time to use while I get ready. I am very happy with this purchase!

I love my therabody face mask. I dont have to deal with a cord, and im enjoying the three different settings. Ive been using it for about three weeks now and im noticing my skin is alot smoother and it helps with breakouts. I highly recommend adding this to your face routine.

I’ve been using the Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo for about a week now and I really like it so far. I’ve been using it every single night, as directed, for the full 12-minute preset treatment, and I feel like I’m already starting to notice a small change. My skin looks a little more radiant and my overall texture feels just a bit smoother. Even beyond the results, I genuinely enjoy the experience. I like having those 12 minutes to myself where I put the mask on, sit back, and just let it do its thing. It’s relaxing and feels like a nice little nightly routine rather than a chore. One of the things I appreciate most is how easy it is to use. There’s basically no setup at all. When you open the box, there are quick start instructions printed on the inside of the lid, along with a QR code that takes you to the full user manual along with some videos to help you get started. It comes as one complete unit, which I really like. In the box you get the mask with the head strap already attached, the protective eye shield, and a USB-C charging cable. The first thing you should do is give it a charge, but after that it’s ready to go. I do think it’s worth mentioning that the instructions are very clear about charging. It specifically says not to leave it plugged in and charging after it’s full, and not to overcharge it. That’s something a lot of people (myself included) tend to do with devices, so it’s good to be aware of. Once it’s charged, it’s as simple as washing and drying your face, putting the mask on, adjusting the straps, and long-pressing the LED button to start. And then sit back and enjoy the therapy, or do stuff while it does its thing, whatever you prefer. The fit has been good for me, and that’s saying something because I have a pretty big head. The main strap fits fine, and while the top center strap was a little stiff at first, it just needed to be bent and shaped a bit. After holding it in place for a short time, it formed nicely and now it stays put without any issues. Once it’s on, the mask runs through its 12-minute cycle automatically. The cycle consists of four minutes of red light, four minutes of red plus infrared, and four minutes of blue light. You can also manually switch between the modes if you want. When it’s done, I just take it off, apply my nighttime moisturizer, and go to bed. That’s been my routine every night this week, and I’m really happy with it. I do have a couple small critiques. The first is the vibration feature. Therabody calls it a massage, but to me it just feels like a buzzing vibration. There are three modes, but honestly, I find it annoying and kind of gimmicky. I don’t enjoy vibrating things on my face, so I’ve completely turned that off and only use the light therapy mode. Some people might like the vibration, but for me, the mask would be fine, and probably cheaper, without it. The second issue is the protective eye shield. It’s flexible and comfortable enough, but I get a noticeable amount of light bleed. I can still see a lot of red and blue light even with it in place, which makes me wonder if I should be keeping my eyes open during treatment. I’d love to see a thicker version, more padding, or even different sizes available so it seals a bit better around the eyes. During the first few uses, I did notice a lingering warmth on my face after the session, almost like a very mild sunburn feeling that lasted maybe six to ten minutes. There was no redness or irritation that I could see, and that sensation has already gone away after the first few days. At this point, after a week of use, I don’t notice that feeling anymore. I’m really excited to keep using this long term, especially knowing that the clinical results they talk about are based on 12 weeks of consistent use, so if I’m already seeing subtle changes after one week, I’m very excited to see what kind of difference it makes after a full three months. Overall, I really like this mask. It’s easy to use, well thought out, and it’s become something I genuinely look forward to at the end of the day. Aside from the vibration feature and the eye shield needing a bit of improvement, I think it’s a great product. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skin, and who might want an excuse to take a relaxing 12-minute break for themselves each night or morning.

Therabody Face Mask Glo this is the first time i have ever tried something like this i have seen them but never tried them out. I have to say this is kinda calming when i have it on i do this before i go to work just to have time to think about the day. My wife uses it before she goes to bed to relax her. I know it seems strange that light can help your skin fight issues but if there is so many product out i guess it might work. The one bad thing is i have had this for 4 days and i can't tell you i have seen results already because it will take 6 to 12 weeks to really see something and you have to use this everyday. Therabody makes great products already i do have some of them at home and i really enjoy the one's i have. So this puts out 3 lights each light has a different function and purpose of use the 1st one i a red light reduces the lines in your face. The 2nd light a litter red light is for your boost the body's collagen that will firm up your face. The 3r light is blue that is for bacteria and helps with acne. Now you can adjust the setting on this to just do 1 light color so if you want to do one more than the other. All the light are calming and the mask isn't heavy on your face or head. You do have some space maybe an inch or 2 from your face to the mask itself and the eye holes are cushioned by a silicon so your eye's don't get the light. They did put in a massager in the face mask that has different setting so it's like you day at the spa but at home. The charge last for a good time i use it during the day and my wife at night and it's still going without a charge. the head straps are adjustable and i think at the perfect spot to be placed on my head. If you look at the list of top mask this one is in the top 5 in that list. This takes about 12min to do a session they say the shorter the time the better the mask.

This takes a little getting use to, when I first put it on I only left it on a minute, I’m not claustrophobic but having something over my face was a bit disturbing at first. I’m getting use to it now. My husband said I looked like Jason from Friday the 13th, Lol. I have a small head & find it hard to adjust myself, I try to keep it set so I can slip it on. It always slips down & I find it hard to breathe while wearing it, it pinches my nose. The silicone eye protector piece keeps popping outalso, I’d be afraid to use it without this since it’s very bright. Otherwise it’s fairly lightweight. I’ve been using it for over a week now & haven’t seen any improvement yet but results aren’t suppose to happen until between 8 -12 weeks. I’ve been using it every night before bed since it has to be used with a clean face. There are 3 four minute cycles & you can use just one or all three, all cycles are suggested for maximum benefits. Total is 12 minutes of use everyday. The red light is for wrinkles & dark spots, red +infrared is for wrinkles & tightening & blue is for acne. I would like some reduction of fine lines, dark spots, and tightening. I also break out across my cheeks, so hoping the blue light helps with that. I will post update in comments after I’ve used it for suggested time period. There is a massage feature which has 3 vibration settings, It comes on automatically each time & I’m not a fan of vibration massage, I find it annoying. Shiatsu would’ve been better. I turn this off every time. It’s very easy to use, buttons are on the side. Charges with included usb cable . It came pre charged & I haven’t charged it yet so it holds charge pretty long. They suggest you download the app so I did & all I got was “Theramask is not yet supported in the app”. Not sure why you would suggest getting the app if you can’t even use it! There are a few things I don’t like as listed above & I’m not sure how I feel about it yet since time will tell how well it performs but it’s definitely better than injections and surgery!

The TheraFace Mask Glo promises skin firmness, radiance and among other things. This is achieved through the use of 504 medical-grade LEDs and gentle facial massages with their proprietary VibraWave technology. The company’s large number of clinical trials and along with the device’s FDA-clearance (Food and Drug Administration) largely influenced my decision to go with the TheraFace Mask Glo. As packaged: • TheraFace Mask Glo • Protective eye shield • USB-C to USB-C charging cable The device is a face mask with lined with previously stated 504 medical-grade LEDs which provide optimum coverage for the face. Through the use of red, red + infrared and blue lights, facial skin is rejuvenated through reduction of lines and blemishes, collagen production and disruption of acne growth along with associated bacteria respectively. Each of the 3 phases employs different wavelengths which work at appropriate depths in the skin for results. A session comprises of 4-minute exposures to each of the phases for a total of 12 minutes. The VibraWave massage accompanies each phase and works very well. It is accomplished through vibration from the mask which cleverly radiates through the attached straps. I have found it very relaxing and soothing especially at the end of the day, when my mask routine occurs. Should you prefer to use only the VibraWave massage without the light therapy, the left button (when wearing the mask) activates this. There is the option to toggle between the three vibration modes. By default, the right button begins the full 12-minute session with both LED and massage features activated. The medical-grade silicone eye protection is very effective and allows me to keep my eyes open while using the device. At about 514g, the TheraFace Mask Glo is comfortable to wear. I typically gently wipe down my mask after each use and also go with Therabody’s recommendation of a clean and dry skin prior to use. Per Therabody, results should be visible after about 8 weeks of daily use. While I may currently be far from this, the massage feature on its own has me sold for the calmness and relaxation it provides. Knowing that acne bacteria is also being stopped in their tracks along with boosting of collagen in the long run is the icing on the cake. I currently keep my mask stowed in the original packing box but will invest in the travel case accessory also by Therabody to promote longevity. My TheraFace Mask Glo always leaves me with a good feeling after each session and I have an overall positive outlook about the device. The fact that it has been vetted by the FDA and also had many successful clinical trials assures me the best is yet to come for my facial skin. I highly recommend.

Theraface Mask Glo is a face mask containing LED lights that is supposed to improve the quality of your skin by either stimulating cellular metabolism (red light) or by killing bacteria (blue light). It comes programmed with a “treatment” regimen which cycles through three color settings (red, red/infrared, and blue) at 4 minutes each. I have had experience with a few other devices that do light therapy: a wand, and a patch. Having a mask that treats the entire face is very convenient if that’s what you want to do, but it is a dedicated device for a single use. Other tools can be used in multiple ways, for targeted treatment, for example. Theraface also tends to be much more expensive than some alternatives. The price comes with a reputable brand that has actually put in the work to medically test their products, and the components are specifically designed for the proven treatment. Other, cheaper brands might use LEDs that look similar but don’t produce the same pure bright light that reproduces the medical testing with proven results. In other words, they likely do not work as well, if at all. This product is pleasantly simplistic. It does not have any fancy settings or app controls. It’s either on or off. The power button starts the treatment; additional presses skip to the next color or end treatment. The only added complication is the massage feature, which is kind of pleasant but honestly feels like an afterthought. There are two little vibrators in the head band that goes behind the head. They sort of massage the scalp during the treatment. A massage button cycles through the default massage, high power, a wave pattern, or off. Personally I would rather have the vibrators in the mask itself instead of in the strap, so that it would massage my face around my eyes. But even so, the vibrations do kind of extend through the whole contraption. Finally, this mask is sturdier than it looks. I don’t expect it will break any time soon. However, it is heavy enough that I had a hard time getting the strap to hold it without moving or sagging out of place, and without being so tight that it is uncomfortable. Consequently, I usually don’t try to walk around or do anything else during the treatment, I just sit or lie down and hold the mask in position with my hands. With that in mind, it would be nice if the strap were removable (it is not) to make it easier to simply rest the mask on my face without worrying about strapping it on. For the rating: if 3 stars is average, this product is definitely above average since the average LED therapy device is a cheap gimmick that doesn’t work well. This manufacturer took the time and expense to use tested components with clinical tests to verify the legitimacy of the treatment, ensuring that it does what it is supposed to do. But if 5 stars is a perfect product, there’s room for improvement. It is a single-purpose device that could be more comfortable.

I'm not going to speak about the efficacy of red/blue light therapy because I frankly just don't know if it's really all that beneficial. I just know how I feel after using it and haven't noticed any negative effects so I say why not since it's so easy to use anyways. Setup is basically non-existent. Charge it up before your first use and when you're ready for your normal facial routine, just put the mask on and adjust the straps. There's only two buttons on the mask, one of each side. Hold the light button a few seconds and the red light kicks in. The session will last 12 minutes and switch to blue light halfway though. Then you're done and you can finish your normal facial routine. The initial red light blast when it turns on can sometimes be pretty intense. Definitely make sure the mask is snug around your eyes. You can go about doing some normal things while wearing the mask but because of the depth of the eyes, your vision is impaired in the periphery and you can only really side directly in front of you. I prefer to just lay down and close my eyes and relax during the session time. The head massage feature is pretty nice but I wish it made some more contact points around the head. I also wish there was more settings for strength and pattern. As is, there's only 3 settings which are a low speed constant, high speed constant and then a repeating pulsate that ramps up. I liked the third one best. It helped me relax a bit while just laying back and letting the mask do it's thing. The lights feel warm on your face but in a subtle way. It's like I can feel it "doing" something but also, I can't. I can't speak about the long term results. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a study that says red light therapy actually doesn't do anything. But I don't notice any short term negative affects so, with how easy it is to just throw on real quick and relax for twelve minutes, I'm going to keep doing it. As far as short term, after taking the mask off, my wife and I both had a noticable red spot on our forehead. This wasn't from the light but from the top of the mask resting on that spot. It went away in a couple minutes. One thing about getting started that I'd love to see a better solution for is just the straps. They're very rigid (which I'm sure they need to be to support the head massage feature) and they easily come out of the loops. I usually have to fish around to find the loop while it's on my head to reattach the strap. It's not a deal breaker or a really big deal but it's the one pain point I found while trying to put the mask on to use it. A second negative my wife and I both found was that it could be harder to breath with the mask on. There's no ventilation around the mouth so you're probably doing a decent amount of breathing in some air you just exhaled. It wasn't anything that I felt in danger of, but since we both noticed and it was one of the first comments my wife had after wearing it for a few minutes, I thought I should bring it up. I found breathing out of my nose was far easier so if you're sick or your predominantly breathe out of your mouth, it's something to keep in mind. Overall, I'll keep using this every day or two for a quick massage and some "therapy" even if I'm not 100% convinced the light therapy is actually doing much of anything. I still like it.

After using the TheraFace daily for a few weeks, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my skin. Even after just a few sessions, my face felt smoother and had a healthy glow. After each session, I like to follow up with my daily skincare routine, and I’ve found that my serums and moisturizers absorb much better. My sun spots and fine lines have also started to fade, and I’m excited to see even more progress over time. This mask is easy to use, and the gentle vibrations make it feel like a mini facial while my skin soaks up the light therapy benefits. The eye shield allows me to use my phone or read a book during treatments, which makes it super convenient. It’s such a relaxing and effective addition to my skincare routine! This product is high quality, has sturdy but comfortable feel, and delivers on results! It’s very user friendly and simple to use. Simply adjust the straps to your head and press the start button the side. The mask will beep between settings and automatically turn off at the end of the session. You also have the option to adjust the massage settings for more or less vibration. You can also skip light settings if you so choose to. This would make a perfect gift for that special person in your life, or even a well-deserved treat for yourself!

VISIBLE RESULTS: After 2-weeks use of the TheraFace Mask Glo, following routine guidelines, I honestly have not seen any visible results. I will temper my results with being asked to only use for 1 to 2 weeks, then provide my review. I recognize Therabody states “…visibly reduce sagging in 12 weeks, with undereye wrinkles and fine lines improving in as little as 8 weeks.” Therefore, my testing for about one sixth of the recommended time frame is less than ideal for an objective review. That said, I will continue to use for the next two months and will update this review if beneficial facial results are achieved. BUILD: The build quality, similar to all Therabody products, is inherently apparent, coupled with a well thought out simple (in a good way) control layout. The simplicity of this design, combined with a single multifunctional on/routine/off button (right side), and a single multifunctional variable vibration button (left side) makes for a functional no nonsense setup. Add in the built-in mask battery, so an external controller is not required, and you have a very functional design. Nice! LED THERAPY: There are basically three LED therapies to select: 1) Red Light intended to reduce fine line and wrinkles. 2) Red and Infrared Light for the production of collagen. 3) Blue Light to reduce bacteria (acne). The default (initial on) function is for a combination of cycling through all three LED therapies mentioned above for a 12-minute session. Note the default setting also activates the default vibration mode. Or you cycle through with the right-side on/routine/off button to select a single specific LED therapy. VIBRATION TREATMENT: The left button will cycle through the different types of vibration modes or turn off completely. The vibrating mechanisms are embedded into the left and right head straps. And intensity can be somewhat adjusted for more or less vibrations by tightening or loosening the straps. Using the TheraFace mask with vibrations can be an added bonus if you enjoy machine-driven facial massages. But for my use, it just didn’t do it for me; felt nothing like getting a facial from an experienced professional. LIGHTING: While using the TheraFace Glo Mask, with the embedded protective eye shields, there is a lot of red-light bleed-through with my eyes closed. Therefore, while using I am normally sitting in a recliner with closed eyes. Also note that you cannot safely use this mask wearing any type of eyeglasses. BATTERY: The internal battery is incorporated into the mask housing. Included is a USB-C to USB-C cable, but without a suppled charger. The mask battery is rechargeable with most any type of mobile device charger with a USB-C output of 5.0vdc; no minimum current (amperage) listed. When charging, the mask is not usable. Therefore, I assume once the internal battery will not maintain a suitable charge, it will render the mask unusable. RATING: It is difficult for me to objectively “Star Rate” this TheraFace Mask Glo as good or bad, only due to the short time frame I was requested to demo this unit. I currently own and use other Therabody devices that all have exceeded my expectations. Therefore, I will give this a 4-Star Rating assuming it will provide beneficial facial results over the next two months. .

Fully cordless, so I move freely around the house—no wires or outlets needed. The gentle scalp vibration adds a relaxing spa touch, setup is simple, and it’s easy to wipe clean. Early results show a nice glow and smoother texture. The 12-minute sessions are a bit long (hence 4 stars), but the comfort makes daily use effortless. Perfect for anyone wanting a premium LED mask that fits seamlessly into a busy routine!
