This was a good buy. It replaced the 20-year-old Cooper analog unit that got water in it. The ThermaPro Digital Instant-Read Meat Thermometer is quick-reading, lightweight, and easy to use and store. The length allows me to take a reading without getting my hand too near the heat. Storage is simply replacing the protective rubber end sheath and sticking it on the refrigerator.

I like the magnet on the back, the length, the speed that it reads temperatures, and the price.

Simple no frills thermometer at a great price. Readings are accurate, it’s easy to use and read. As an added bonus, there is a magnet on the back for you to stick on a nearby appliance instead of storing in a drawer somewhere.

I bought the meat thermometer to help with cooking, its accurate, light weight, and the magnet sticks perfectly to any metal appliance. I reccomend this if youre looking for a cooking thermometor

I expected a cheap device for the price but was surprised. Now, dont get me wrong, it's no Cadillac, but it is as solid as a Toyota Camry. No bells and whistles here, just the means to get the job done. I prefer some things to be simple, and this absolutely works for me at a price i could not deny.

Thermometer is very easy to use. We have tried on a number of meats, both roasted and smoked. Gives quick and accurate results.

Had for several months now. So far so good. DO NOT GET WET, Learned lesson and had to replace it. Would be great if ti was waterproof but they say not to wash it so as I said lesson learn. Honestly a great tool to make sure you dont overcook any meat. Accuracy is good and this is based on not getting food poisoning from under-cooked food and color of beef (med rare being around 165 i think and showing great color etc)

I have been wanting to pick up a cooking thermometer for a while, and when it popped up on the Best Buy Deal of the Day, I couldn't pass it up. I got a great deal on it and I would strongly suggest that you sign up for the Deal of the Day, if you haven't already. It is very simple and easy to use. My shipment got delayed by a couple days because of the holiday mail, but Best Buy kept me informed on when it was shipped and delivered by sending me text updates, so it wasn't a big deal because I didn't have to have it right away anyways. It was just another item that I have added to my cooking arsenal as I start to do more cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. I would recommend picking this up if you are also looking for a cooking thermometer, especially if you can snag it while it's on sale. It was very inexpensive compared to some of the other thermometers on the market. It may not look super fancy or have a lot of other features, but it works for what I wanted to have. Absolutely love this meat thermometer...it is quite often more accurate than any other I have purchased, but I should have known; the THERMO-PRO PROBE is the BOMB as well...Use it year round with my Outdoor Ninja!
