Just installed and no more smoke detectors going off when I cook! Goes great with the new KitchenAid stove!

Not at all happy with the hoods being installed. they do not take the smell and fumes out while cooking. some do not fit the space.

While searching for the 100's of hood ranges Best Buy has to offer, I stumbled upon this Thor Hood range. I was surprised to see that it had no flashy advertisement, it was not overwhelming expensive, but neither was it too cheap. I looked at all the specifications and was surprised to see that it had all the features I was looking for, plus the suction power I needed. 600cfu. That is very respectable. I hate it when the house smells like food and the Hood range doesn't do it's job. Thor Hood range definitely is sleek, has the basic features and does the job. A big plus is that I don't have to buy filters all the time. The filters included can be washed, and the Hood range even tells you when it needs them washed!

Works great in our kitchen. Definitely, vents so I am not smoking up the kitchen. Only negative would be how loud the fan is. Great design looks very nice against our dark cabinets.

terrible terrible product. bought this thinking it is a high end product 2 months later started having problem with it. Tried calling best buy but because i didn't buy the warranty i couldn't take it back. Oil sensor comes on everyday. Making noise and rattling. Had Thor send technician, 1st they said it was the motor. They ordered it . Two weeks later it gets delivered. week later technician comes back and now he says it is not the motor it is the installation. ( Same Technician ). Regret the day i bought this thing. Now it is just sitting in my kitchen just for looks, can't even use it 2 months later and best won't take it back.

Replaced a 25 year old Thermador hood. Almost as powerful (1200 CFM vs 1000 CFM) but a lot less. Looks good also.

The hood works great. It is very attractive over my stove.

The fan is not quite I don’t like but to late now to uninstall the fane is to much noise when you turn on

I have not installed it in my kitchen yet but I think it fits my needs
