Worst crap ever where can I start, the oven hot surface ignitor was broke at delivery, after calling Thor emailing for month we bough one from viking had to get it installed $300 plus installation, this times 5 times now. thats how bad this kitchen is. Well the knobs are falling off I guess for what I read now it's part of the big issue, the stove burners are a joke either the flame is huge or not staying on got that checked twice already, when you called Thor we never got answers, now we did get a hold of someone the worked in the office she was lovely and help us as much as she could, but then you still have to go thru the tech people and order but thats a joke on his own expensive parts the are worthless. Buy something else this wannabe commercial kitchen are not worth it at all, ioh before i forget the oven door has never closed so we got that check to find out it cant be fixed is a manufacturing defect.

Thought this was a great value in this price range and chose Thor over a close competitor at Costco. So far, not a fan. From the outset, BB delivery service failed to install the unit. Crew just refused. Had to beg them to put the unit on our deck nearest the kitchen while we had to search for technicians to install. Be careful when needing to simmer. You'll need to use the lowest level of flame by going to the left of HIGH. We discovered that Low flame on this powerful unit is still too powerful for your low simmer dishes. There is an odd placement of the knobs - absolutely no consistency (e.g, front burners are on the left, rear on the right). On this unit, the placement of the burners is opposite from left and right. You cannot access the lower drawer while the over is in operation. It swells. The manufacturer would have done well to make the over knob digital so you could be assured of the precise temperature. And please note that Thor calibrates the oven to be 25 degrees lower than what's on the face to compensate for convection cooking. However Thor's customer service has not serviced the unit though we've complained that the oven temps are not accurate at the higher levels. They told us that the oven does not properly work in conventional mode - which is a bummer because we purchased this to have the option. If you choose to buy, buy the Best Buy extended warranty. Though we remain under warranty, Thor customer service has been customer frustration. They are non-responsive to the email inquiry they mandated I submit after talking with two agents (who by the way were quite dismissive). And have yet to assign a technician to confirm proper operations even when I suggested we had no problem in paying for the trip fee!!! The unit is beautiful. It's powerful. Sadly, the experience has not lived up to the "Cook Like a God" hype. Feeling more like we've checked in to the Hotel California. Big investment for us and feeling like our business isn't valued by Thor. *sigh

The range actually seemed pretty good. Nice big oven. Did not like the fact that there was no burner that could be set at low to hold small pots or items for a long time. My problem was with the lack of customer service. I am pretty sure that the oven light turned on when I tried it initially. The next time I attempted to turn it on was 6 days later on Thanksgiving. It did not come on. I had to file a report online with thor. They asked me to send a picture of the problem, although I thought that it was pretty self-explanatory that the oven light did not come on. But they said they needed pictures so that they could assure that the service technician had the appropriate parts. After I sent a picture of the oven light, I was told that I needed to go out and purchase a new light and install it myself because oven lights are not covered under their warranty. They are wear and tear items. How much wear and tear does an oven light get in 6 days? I objected to this, but I was assured that this was the policy and there was no way around it. Then I thought about the fact that I had submitted a question about the oven through their website a day after I had purchased it and had received no response. I figured this was not a company that was looking out for their customers. Glad I had total tech. Sent the door back for a different oven.
