This seems to work with PS4 version but NOT the PS5 version. Yes the PS5 console does recognize the wheel as connected but specifically if you want to play GT7 with the PS5 version only this wheel is NOT compatible. PS4 and PC works decently with drivers but my advice is to save up for a more expensive wheel that's newer and legitimately compatible with GT7 PS5. Also the major issue on PC is the pedals often gets mis-mapped to a button such as L2 or R2 (#7 and 8) instead of its own axis which you can see on the Windows calibration tool, no real solutions or compatibility fixes for it unlike a Hotas 4 with its own PS4/PC switcher.

The device is labeled as Thrustmaster - T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel for PlayStation 5, 4 and Windows - Black. This means it works for play station 5 but it does not and there is a tag at the back of the box that says 'for playstation 4'. Unfortunately i'm seeing that label only today January 16, 2023 and the return date ended January 14, 2023.

Bought this alongside Gran Turismo 7. Gets the job done with a little bit of drift but not enough to substantially affect race performance. Get yourself a sturdy mounting stand.

I was looking for a budget friendly decent wheel to start with that would be compatible with a ps5 and came across a this. The wheel feels nice on hands and is decently responsive can’t complain for the price. However the pedals are really cheap. The brake pedal broke after just tapping it about 15-20 times in a racing game because the springs were way too strong for the plastic piece holding the pedal in place. As a solution I just superglued the broken plastic piece and took off one spring from the brake pedal to lessen the tension on the plastic. Although both gas and brake pedals have around the same tension it doesn’t bother me so I’m fine with it. Also it hasn’t broken again ever since that little hack so I guess thats a plus.

Ordered once before and it arrived damaged during shipping—pedals snapped from the base. but upon ordering again, this one’s worked great for me so far. Wanted something cheap to get into sim racing, and it’s been reliable and fun for that purpose. Easy wiring, setup, and the drivers weren’t too annoying to install either. I think the pedals would hold up for regular use but I doubt any further. Was expecting to come across some issues since it’s entry-level, but encountered none so far, so I’d definitely say a positive experience ovr.

Misleading product, says it works on PC, but there are no actual PC games that works with this wheel, it sucks. Like if it would be actually too hard to make it compatible on 2023. Stupid Windows, Stupid Thrustmaster, stupid capitalism. I will probably take it back for a refund or something.

it was compatible with the ps5 and function with gran turismo 7 for like a month. Within the past couple of days i notice the steer wheel wasn't working. When attempted to restart the game on the top R hand corner of menu title of the game it states Controller not compatible with the game. Overall when function it was fun to use would recommonded for a low end steerring wheel

Purchase this item to use we have racing games for windows. They are original item that was shipped from Best Buy.com did not work. I had to return it to the store and they had to re-order the item for me. The second item worked as expected for a Windows desktop giving counsel. I give this product today average rating since it works fine but it required a second purchase as the original item was defective.

The Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel has decent design but lacks strong force feedback and realistic pedal resistance, making it better suited for casual gamers rather than serious racing enthusiasts.

My son loved his BIRTHDAY gift. I watch him drive with this wheel. He wants to learn how to drive so this is perfect for him. It was easy to put together and download his game he really loves this product and the foot pedals work really great. Im glad i bought this wheel and pedal.

Came quickly and picked up at store. Product was difficult at first to set up, so thought I got a broken one but my son then got it to work. You will have to restart your ps4 then go through the instructions and set it up

If this is your first time using a wheel for racing games. This is definitely the one, however, very cheap material. The cord is old school too. You can plug it into a house phone lol.
