Good value for the product when it is on sale. Like mentioned there is confusion about when the $30 credit is available and for new customers only.

The picture shows a card getting "first month free". The one sent is for a $30 service credit on month 2, so nothing free until then. Misleading! Best Buy should fix this.

Same exact problem that reviewer JoeC had two years ago. Two years and still have not fixed it.

Pros: It comes with 2 SIM cards (a T-mobile and a Verizon), and both have the $30 credit attached, so long as you sign up for a new account (use a different email) for each SIM. Ting is known for their Customer Service. It's pretty good when you need it. Ting used to be one of the most expensive MVNOs. They've finally overhauled their old pricing and come up with new plans that are a bit more competitive. Cons: The packaging shows, in fine print on the back, that the $30 credit is applied to the 2nd month's billing. This seemed misleading because it doesn't say that on the front where the big orange banner states "$30 credit". However, when I signed up, the $30 credit was applied immediately. Overall kind of confusing. My T-mobile SIM had an expiration date just days from when I bought it. It's not really Ting's fault. T-mobile places expiration dates on all their SIMs. But it would help if Ting printed the expiration date somewhere on the outside of the packaging so you know what you're getting into.

this is great to experience the ting mobile network... the $30 service credit is supposed to come through 2nd month onwards but it did show up after 24 hours at times on some of the cards..

Not only is Ting an amazing service, but having the ability to walk in and immediately convert my phone and improve my coverage is amazing. And the credit Ting gives you to cover the cost is more than adequate.

One of the best deals at Best Buy. Ting is a great phone service and these SIM cards give you a great opportunity to try it out. The credit posts right away so there is virtually no cost to try Ting.

Set up was easy and reception is great. I chose the verizon network and it has been fast so far. Happy with the purchase. My number transfer was with in minutes.

Good price and includes $30 credit. They also have a Flex plan that only charges when you used it. Activation was not simple though and could not port my current number over.

This is the easiest way to get a phone number that can be used for port in. The cheapest plan is also a good option for keeping the number in long term.

Is easy and great when it works. There are times when you try to activate it and enter your card for future payments, it says that there was an error with the card, even though the card is good and has more than enough funds.
Easy option to switch carrier with low cost SIM kit and gives $30 credit is awesome but remember this credit is only for the first line :)

Value for money. If purchasing on a deal you get $30 credit as well and it’s a good option to bank if you just need a reasonable service

Ting is awesome. I have been using it for my entire family for a number of years. Service is just fine (T-Mobile) and the prices are good.

I bought this SIM card kit as a backup for my main line. Good as a backup but as a main line. It does say it includes $30 in free service, still waiting to get that. And at $0.99, there is nothing to complain about.
